But Twilight keeps the tree running to her own standards, and that means true offenses are hard to come by. Really, there's just one little potential issue.

When gnarled branches and twisting shadows take shape, the brothers find themselves holding their ground against the changeling's former tyrant. But while one brother readies himself for a fight, the other faces his predecessor unarmed, seeking not victory, but answers.

Spike the Dragon, Princess Twilight Sparkle's Number One Assistant, takes it upon himself to save a pony.

He has no idea what he's in for.

Twilight is buried beneath her duties as a princess, an administrator, and as the head of a school. Sometimes, things get lost in the hectic shuffle, small, tiny, important things in desperate need of reassurance and comfort.

This is an entry in the Weedverse, but it is rather self-contained. It exists on a small, focused scale, a character drama between just a few souls.

The changelings are content with their recent change, but they're all still working to adjust to the full scope of these changes.

Thorax, however, finds there was one personal change he's somehow overlooked.

Rated Teen for implied subject material...but I was able to avoid discussing it directly so much so that it's probably overkill on my part.

Obviously, spoilers for the season 6 finale.

Spike's lost the pony that's always loved him, the one who acted as a mother, sister, teacher, and best friend. Now he's in pain... but he's not alone. Because Twilight's friends have vowed not to let him become an orphan. In place of one mother, five will now raise him.

Sometimes, when one is dealing with family problems, it's best to get away and cool off. What better way for Thorax to do that than spend time with his best friend and the stallion he swears is the definition of cool?

And, who knows? This stallion might offer a bit of insight into his problems.
