Fans cry in despair as Hasbro confirms the tragedy: “Season 9 will be the last season of Friendship is Magic.”

And to you, a fan of the beloved series and fandom you’ve been a part of for years, it was too much to bear. That’s it- It’s coming to an end. My Little Pony Generation Four is closing it’s curtains- It’s universe put to bed forever.

All has been lost. It’s done. It’s goodbye...

Or is it, though?

Commemoration for the 2nd saddest day of My Little Pony History. Generation Four will be missed when it’s over, you have my word.

Pinkie Pie is battling with depression and self-doubt, despite being outgoing and energetic in public. At home, even getting out of bed can be a massive hurdle. A simple photo and phone call from a friend changes her outlook, providing the motivation she needs to keep going.

What will Scootaloo do when she learns that she can never fly? Will she be alone in the darkness with her pain, sorrow, and misery? Or will she accept her destiny and fate instead?

Will she let her doubt and fear destroy her or will she be brave instead?

Dreams. They are fragile like a bubble.
Crackle Pop knows this very well. He knows it since he has discovered his special talent and earned his cutie mark. He knows this, because his special talent is to destroy dreams. Not the dreams that are only there at night. Manipulating those kind of dreams is Princess Luna's domain.
No, Crackle Pop was good at destroying the ambitions of ponies. What such a special talent should be good for? Crackle Pop asks himself this question too. He doesn't know the answer, all he knows is he can.
Sometimes it was a good thing. Sometimes, there was a pony will ill intentions, dreams of revenge, perhaps. Then he was the pony for the job.
In other cases, though, his special talent destroyed the dreams of ponies who meant something to him, good dreams that didn't create any harm.
Ponies refer to their special talents as their destinies, but for Crackle Pop, his special talent is a dark and cruel fate. It had hurt his friends, his teachers and his neighbors. It had never hurt his family, though.
This changes on the day fate forces him to ruin the longtime dream of the kindest pony he knows and the pony that means the most to him.....

Takes place before, during and after the events seen in "The Cart Before the Ponies".

After the recent events, Starlight Glimmer thinks she and Trixie need to talk about something.

The young mother looked at the princess, flabbergasted. "You're kidding, right?"

The princess looked on stoically.

"You expect me to sell my baby for citizenship?" The mother enunciates, getting more confused and enraged by the second.

Our protagonists experience the aftermath after the worst battle they will ever have. A battle against one of their own.

A battle they will feel defeated after even if they are victorious.

They´ve lost Spike, now he is cursed in a statue form. Twilight lose her closest friend. It all goes down for her.They all grieve. But she suffers the most...

Eventually Twilight's friends will learn to keep going. But she remains the same.

"...we could be stuck doing this for all eternity!" Twilight said.
"That's fine with me!" Starlight responded.
Starlight never thought that Twilight was actually being serious.

What would have happened if Starlight hadn't turned herself over to Twilight? If she rejected friendship, even after being given a chance to come back?

Starlight Glimmer is strong. She always has been. She always will be.
But Twilight wants that to change.

THIS IS A SIMILAR BUT DIFFERENT UNIVERSE. I wrote this, starting during late Season 2, so I had to make judgment calls based on the information I had. As such, certain episodes thereafter do not match up, or fit in different places. Consequently, it is a very similar alternate universe. Many events happen in both this and the show timeline, but do not always match. I tried to stay consistent when possible, but certain things were lost to disagreements in interpretation. I like how I wrote my story and will not force it to match what came after I started writing. I've also decided to consider this fluidly finished. I still seem to make updates, but I no longer guarantee them.

Sadness, depression, guilt, darkness all these things can easily swallow a happy day. They can change ponies lives in a heartbeat. All it took was one of Rainbow Dash's pranks going a little too far. A over reaction to that prank forever changing the lives of everypony and one dragon, But as the days roll on, the abyss of guilt and constant self blame will consume one mare. Can she ever find forgiveness for her mistake, both mentally and spiritually? Most importantly, will she forgive herself?
