The Mane 6 have led a pretty fast-paced life ever since they all came together, but recently, things have been pretty laid back. The most recent world-saving feat had been accomplished by somepony else, and all has pretty much been quiet since then. It sounds nice, but Rainbow Dash quickly grows bored and demands adventure! So they all quickly come up with an idea and pack their bags, but when they embark on their new adventure, something goes horribly wrong, and they end up getting puled into a world very different than the one they're used to.

While on a typical gem hunt with Spike, Rarity uncovers a strange alien device that turns out to be rather handy once you know how to use it.

No, this is not a Fallout Equestria crossover. Just Rarity has a pip-boy.

For Queen Chrysalis, the end seemed near. Defeat after defeat at the hooves of her enemies had left her tired and desperate while her army of once thousands reduced to a mere several dozen. Surrounded, it seemed that utter defeat was inevitable. But she was a proud changeling queen, she wouldn't go down that easy. She still had one last trick up her hoof. A Portal...to another world. And through that portal, she entered a world of new wonders, of new dangers, and to her surprise and utter shock, a world of giants.

For Rick Mason, life was alright. He had a nice house, a decent job, and two awesome dogs. What else could a guy ask for? Tiny talking alien bug horses? ...Well it's not like he wasn't asking for them.

Ever since she traveled to the human world, Twilight grew fascinated with humanity and their ability to accomplish technological advances despite having no magic. After studying modern technology for a while, she asks her counterpart and Sunset Shimmer to conduct an experiment with her. They would bring technology to Equestria, get it to work, and share it among their friends.

Update: As of May 31st, this story has begun it's reboot. As such, all previous chapters will be archived and will eventually be replaced by the reboot chapters.

950 years after Nightmare Moon was banished from Equestria, an incident occurred in the smokey mountains involving a cult obsessed with a being known as 'the fire starter'.

Said incident was where a dragon going by the name of Spike first appeared in Equestria, setting in motion several series of events regarding the supernatural forces that hid in the shadows of this world.

this is his story.

It is not every day that you learn that a monster of legend is real, let alone friends with Rarity. If she had heard of the old stories, perhaps she would be more cautious. Or more daring.

Yet in the modern world there is no opportunity for that besides in the comfort of vidoe games, stories, his imagination and the history books.

But fate has decided to give a blessing upon this unremakrable man. To give him one chance to do what he so often dreamed of. To conquer an empire. Yet fate is a cruel mistress, and Verris, would not be thrust into familiar territory of old history. Or even with humans.
