Two weeks have passed since magic has returned to Equestria. In those two weeks, the ponies of Bridlewood, Maretime Bay, and Zephyr Heights have begun to merge, traveling to one another's homes and exploring the new world that Sunny Starscout and her friends have created. To learn about their magic and how the other races have lived their lives all this time.

It is a new age, one that a lone unicorn Shining Star has been trying to achieve for most of her life. One that she and her husband Argyle had worked to achieve for as long as they had been together. It is a dream come true, one that their own daughter had a hoof in creating.

Now, Shining Star travels to Maretime Bay in the hopes of finally meeting the daughter she has been forced to watch grow up from afar for so many years.

Everyone has a secret self they don’t show to other people. Not to friends, not to lovers, not even to family. They hide who they are and what they want behind lies and painted smiles. Thus the world maintains its thin veneer of peace.

The problems crop up when someone scratches that veneer while trying to do a 720 front flip on her scooter.

Knead Top is a lonely pizza shop owner. After inheriting the shop (and all the responsibility) from his parents after their passing, he’s had a hard time making the bills due to the severe lack of customers.

Canterlot just wasn’t in the mood for pizza anymore.

However, one pony seemed to be.

…Princess Luna and Topple enjoyed the night they spent together.

(Topper’s Pizza logo belongs to Topper’s Pizza. This isn’t the logo of the Topper’s Pizza I usually go to down in SoCal, but it works.)

After moving into Maretime Bay full time, Izzy notices that Sprout hasn't been around. She soon learns that he left his job and has barely set hoof outside his house since the crystals were brought together.

Convinced that Sprout needs somepony to cheer him up, Izzy takes it upon herself to do the cheering up. But Izzy is the absolute last pony Sprout wants to see, he can't stand her in the slightest.

Unfortunately for Sprout, Izzy isn't the type of pony who takes "No" for an answer. She'll find a way to cheer him up no matter what it takes. And maybe, just maybe, she'll find a way to get inside that icy heart of his.
