[2nd Person POV] Taking a chance to prove exactly how cool she is, Rainbow Dash signs up to coach a hoof-ball team for its spring season. But she didn't know Applejack had signed up too. This sparked a major rivalry between the two teams, the Ponyville Dashers, and the Apple Zappers. You signed up for the Ponyville Dashers, more or less to get your workaholic mother off your back, and make a few friends. But Hoof-Ball is a hard game for a unicorn. Your entire attitude, however, changes when you see an orange pegasus filly wearing the same jersey as you.

Upon eavesdropping on a conversation between Rarity and Twilight Sparkle, Spike discovers what his "true love" really thinks of him, and after reminiscing on his thoughts about it, he slowly begins to drift away from his friends. With sorrow and despair in his heart, Spike runs away from home, and runs into an old enemy that tries to help him out.

However, after realizing what she has done, Rarity begins to realize and discover that she has feelings for Spike after all, but can she save him before it's too late?

What events caused Discord to become the Spirit of Disharmony and Chaos? Why did he try to plunge Equestria into eternal Chaos? This story is told from his point of view, taking place back when Equestria was young and new. You all saw how the episode ended: Rainbow Dash unmasks Pinkie-Do-Well, the others show up, she learns her lesson, a letter is written, and everything ends up hunky-dory. Well, if I know Dash (and my fellow bronies), I'd bet a group of us thought that this was not at all characteristic of our favorite speed-demon. I have my own interpretation of that day's events, respectfully submitted below for your reading pleasure.

Having lost her one greatest fan to the usurper, Rainbow Dash is brought to a new low. How did she lose it all? Even her five greatest friends seemed to have abandoned her for Mare-Do-Well. And then Scootaloo... No. She would not let this happen. She would not lose everypony she cared about to some mask-wearing intruder. Even if she had to go beyond the limits of legality, morality, or even sanity, she would bring Mare-Do-Well down.

Loyalty is a two-way street.
