As she brings together her young friends, they all must try and come to terms with the unthinkable.

A thousand years after the passing of Princess Celestia, Luna feels she is nearing the end of her own journey through mortality. Twilight has been hoping against hope to delay this day or banish it entirely, but not even an alicorn princess can stop the march of time.

Sunset hesitantly lets a very enthusiastic Princess Twilight take her new cellphone through the mirror, so that Twilight can study it in Equestria.
It does not work. At all.

After meeting her human counterpart, a thought has been bothering Twilight. Why does she need glasses? Twilight knew her vision was perfectly fine, so there seemed no reason for the other Twilight to need them.

Princess Twilight needs to figure this out.

Princess Luna has raised the moon countless times in her life, but tonight was the first time she received a gift and an invitation to Celestia's chambers after doing so. While she accepts, she can't understand why the offer was made. There was nothing special about the day.

But she's wrong. Today was the day the newest letter from Ponyville arrived.

Principal Cinch managed to leave Canterlot High with her dignity largely intact. Of course, that leaves the question of where she went afterwards. While the two schools celebrated the continuing existence of the universe, Cinch went off to sulk.

It just so happens that one member of the Canterlot faculty knows precisely how she sulks. And in his experience, he plays an essential part in the process. He may have shirked that duty for quite some time now, but tonight, he'll take up the mantle once again, whether Cinch likes it or not.

Rainbow Dash is usually a very take-charge kind of person, but even she can recognize when a problem won't be solved by going really fast, beating the crap out of something, or being the best at literally every sport. She's humble like that.

In this case, the problem is stationary, crapless, and unresponsive to even the most obscure athletic gear. That means it's time to call in the experts.
