Who doesn't want to be remembered?

Written for the "More Most Dangerous Game" story contest, hosted by Equestria Daily, based upon the Anthropology prompt.

My name is Short Skirts and Explosions, and I write a lot of crap.

That said, here's a collection of incomplete stories and/or rough drafts of stories that I would eventually improve into final drafts worthy of Fimfiction and Equestria Daily. This is by no means supposed to add canonical weight to any of the other drivel that I have written, but rather it's meant to show off lengthy pieces of literature that I've poured my heart and soul into, regardless of how much they might suck the proverbial teat of lameness. The material provided here is either stuff that I won't release in complete form, or is writing that is so incredibly different from the final drafts that they almost feel like completely separate stories on their own. Sometimes I like to share the worst I have to offer, as well as the best. Dislike to your heart's content, or else enjoy the junk for what it is.

HELLO, COMMANDER.

In response to the Equine threat, this council of nations has chosen to activate the XCOM project.

We have located the alien's homeworld, known as 'Equestria'. Your mission is to travel there and murder everything you see. Your team has the best weapons, armour and training. Literally nothing can go wrong.

Operation: Exploding Face is underway!

Remember, we will be watching.

Although the Inspector knows everything about his methods, she must now unravel the truth about his personal motives—and in so doing, face a fearful moral quandary.

Applebloom has had a room of her very own for over a year now, and she no longer has scary dreams when she's all alone in the dead of night. But something has come back to visit her, and this time she's old enough to know two things: it's not her friend, and it's not imaginary.

A very short and moody story about one of the many things grown-ups forget.

Things happen. Nothing happens in between these things. If they did, they'd simply be things with more nothing between 'em. So how do you measure the nothing? Two ponies, equally flawed, intend to find out together... no matter how far it takes them.

This is the story that won first place in /fic/'s eighteenth write-off competition. The original story--here, split into three chapters--was written and edited over a period of just seventy two hours. I intend to add additional chapters whenever the fit comes upon me. Bumbaclot hears a strange noise outside, he's not sure what it is. Well, when he finds out, he ends up playing dentist with Derpy and the characters in question.

Continuing the critically acclaimed adventures of Bumbaclot, Rainbow Dash drinks a special potion made by Zecora so she could fix her mental instability. But something goes wrong, and the side effects are evil, I think?

Fluttershy's gone missing for several months, Bumbaclot just realized this now. So he must now go out on a rescue adventure into space with Trixie for a very good reason (He prefers blue explosions).
