It had been a very nice day. Ponies worked, played and laughed. Wherever you looked all was well. The young pony, recently given the title of 'Princess' was just sitting out enjoying what life had to offer. Then everything changed, and it did so with a cube...

Lost in a plane completely foreign to her, Twilight Sparkle must use her skills as a leader to guide a whole town to safety. Now is the time the young Alicorn must prove her worth as a leader. Over a thousand ponies are lost to an unforgiving, eternally unchanging world. Can she save them all?

The Crystal empire has begun to recover in the time since Sombra was believed to be obliterated by the power of the Crystal Heart. Crystal ponies the empire over are beginning to settle into new lifestyles, trying to adapt to a completely alien time.

The young lord of the Slate Ridge region of the Crystal empire has finally finished tying up loose ends after the funerals of his two parents before he's called to the capital to suffer through the suspicions of his fellow (he uses that word hesitatingly) nobles.

Though he seems like a well-meaning stallion despite a few...physical oddities, H.R.H. Princess Cadenza is soon to learn a secret about our young lord's bloodline that could have a few thousand of her loyal ponies shaking in their crystalline horseshoes.

And not to mention what the stallion in question will hear about in his father's final words.

I mean really! Who leaves that sort of outrageous announcement in one's will anyway?!

(( This is my first story everyone! I got this idea while mourning King Sombra's distinct lack of any sort of back-story whatsoever. I would -deeply- appreciate any constructive criticism, as this project is mostly to assist with my writing. I'm not so much interested in spelling corrections, but any clearing up you can do for my grammar and sentence structure will be welcomed with open arms. When I was little, I came to understand the true meaning about a particular trait of mine. I don’t like to talk about it much because I’m just not much of a talkative pony. Or, well, I’m not anymore, but that’s beside the point. It’s just something I find difficult to talk about, much less explain, because unlike what I see, it’s not all black and white. It’s not like anyone could truly understand my condition anyway.

Well, except for maybe her.

Spike wakes up one morning to find Twilight missing, but a note was left for him. His goal is to adventure throughout his home town of Ponyville, receiving clues as to his friend's location. The question is, will he make it in time?

Things are not looking well for Appleloosa. Vicious bandits plague the town, stealing and killing whatever they please. The buffalo tribes are preparing for another assault, bent on flattening the town and every pony in it. And their only hope for rescue is a short-tempered thief, a baby dragon with sticky fingers, and a reliable cowgirl assigned to keep the two crooks honest.

Masky, Patsy, and Applejack are in a race against time to hunt down the bandits before Appleloosa is ripped apart. But everyone in the seemingly-cheery settlement has a few secrets of their own, and nothing is ever as straightforward as it seems in the wild west. The ex-convicts have their work cut out for them--that is, if they don't manage to sneak away first.

Marik develops an evil and needlessly complex scheme to send all of the main characters (and Tristan) to a new show, but it backfires when he is sent there with them. Now the heroes must save Equestria from Marik's evil and get back home. Come on! There aren't even any trading cards in Equestria!
