Princess Cadence is a lonely filly who has been shielded and protected all her life as a princess and member of the dwindling race of Sacred Alicorns. She longs for a friend her age to play with, and as a young teen she is sent to stay in Canterlot where her Aunt Celestia would personally mentor her in developing her magic. There she hopes to finally have the freedom she longs for and find somepony to be her friend. Instead, she is asked to foal sit for one of her aunt's royal adviser's fillies who may just be as lonely and reclusive as she.

This is the story of how Princess Cadence learns that the ability to give love cannot be complete without finding love for yourself, and sometimes it is found when you least expect it.

Fluttershy has a secret she's been keeping from her friends. But when the truth inevitably comes out will they stand beside her, or will they walk away in shame?

When Princess Cadance and Shining Armor travel to Ponyville for their first anniversary, the Changelings launch an assault on the unprotected city of Canterlot. Taken without warning or without word, the city's defenses fall and Queen Chrysalis claims it for her own, killing Celestia as a token of her victory. With its grand ruler dead, and Princess Luna's whereabouts unknown, something that had been inconceivable in Equestria for over 5000 years now begins to tear it apart--war. When a Yellow Power ring comes to Equestria from the depths of space and kidnaps Twilight Sparkle to become it's wielder, Celestia must put aside past grudges and call upon the aide of the Green Lanterns. But with Equestria so far out in the Frontier Regions, the Guardians cannot send a Lantern out to help, and so, instead, redirect one of their rings mid-transit to begin the selection process on Equestria.

Rated: Teen for some violence, mild language, and on page deaths. GL: TAS doesn't pull many punches, so I don't intend to either.

Four months have passed since the events of "A Heart Divided". Fluttershys birds have been dying mysteriously, and she has to race to get a cure. Rainbow dash has to help Fluttershy break through the sadness.

GLaDOS is free of Chell, free to continue testing, when she discovers a portal gun Wheatley tried to repair with duct tape. When the portal gun catastrophically fails, the enrichment center, GLaDOS, and Chell are literally dropped in the middle of Equestria. The mute test subject soon finds the world of ponies far more welcoming than the human world. But GLaDOS sees possibilities. Let the testing begin... for science.
