Laid low by circumstances beyond control, trapped in a cruel and unrelenting prison of flesh made stone, can anypony hold out hope to see the day once more? When their life rests in the hooves of one whom they tried to humiliate and belittle, can they trust in them and make it right? When they can only see through the eyes of another pony, when only one other can hear them, can they stay sane? When the only chance for their freedom is a fool's hope made incarnate, the impossible made improbable, can they beat the odds? Trixie is going to find out.

Pride can lay one low. Stubbornness can leave somepony friendless. Anger and Sorrow can turn others away. And yet, they can give strength. And Hope, in the darkest hours.

If you're afraid of Dark tones, or find them distasteful, or can get stabbed easily in the feels, I suggest reading on only with caution. This is not a happy tale.

Twilight loses her magical powers due to a reason unknown to her. She soon begins to question what she should do for the remainder of her life. Meanwhile, Trixie hears of this news, and with the intention on getting revenge on Twilight, decides to pay the librarian a visit. However, when the showpony arrives, she begins to feel differently about her 'rival'.

The Great and Powerful Trixie returns to Ponyville a year after her prior visit to offer magic lessons to Twilight Sparkle. Does the brash unicorn have something to teach Twilight or will Trixie simply find more humiliation?

This story was written quite a bit of time ago and I haven't gone to change anything based on continuity in the past 6 months or so. Not that anything happened in the show that would affect the sense-make of this (moreso than it being fanfiction, anyway). Besides that, I didn't feel the need to shoehorn in references to season two. Besides this version of the story, I'll be making a non-shipping version as well, so if you're not a fan of Twixie, just *puts on sunglasses* hold your horses.

Rainbow Dash learns that she has a sister, whose current whereabouts and status are completely unknown. It's not even known if she's alive.

Trixie discovers from a doctor that she has a sister who resides in Ponyville, and now has the chance to visit the family she never knew.

If you can't see where this is going yet, I won't spoil anything. Just read on and (hopefully) enjoy! :)

After traveling Equestria and finding no place she belongs Trixie returns to the one place that felt different; Ponyville. She has chosen to swallow a little (just a little) bit of her pride in order to ask the only pony to ever have impressed her for help. She wants Twilight Sparkle to become her teacher in magic...and in the ways of friendship. She hopes to improve herself, but she keeps having these second thoughts...

This story is told while alternating viewpoints between Trixie and Twilight Sparkle. The ~~~~ symbolizes a perspective change.

A romance story with Twilight and Trixie, based in a world where Twilight and Trixie are a couple, and get together in secret to go on dates.

When Octavia refuses Vinyl's affection for her lack of ability to bear a child, Vinyl discovers a way for the two of them to have a filly together. When their music gives birth to the child of their dreams, their lives are never the same as they discover what it means to be parents.

When Rainbow Dash gets sick and can't fly home, she goes to see her friend Twilight.

That particular unicorn just so happened to be in love with the blue pegasus, and that blue pegasus happened to feel the same way, it just comes down to if they can get over their insecurity enough to let truth come out.

This is my first attempt at a romance so if it needs improvement, I'm sorry, and tell me how to improve it.

EDIT: I have never learned how to properly write a book so I will be making revisions while it's posted.

Nopony really knows how Derpy got her cutie mark or why she had a crossed eye. Nopony except Doctor Whooves and Romana. How did they know? They were there at the time. The time Derpy was brought to Equestria. The time she got her cutie mark. Time got them to know Derpy, but it also got them to leave Derpy.

And now, time was about to do something else.

It happened all too quickly, one moment we were engaged, the next moment she was sick and then... she was gone; how could anyone ever be expected to deal with that. I just don't know how to cope, especially without my wings. Who is Rainbow Dash if she can't fly?

And who am I without her? I am nothing.

I'm sorry Twi, so so sorry.
