With the successful adoption of nearly two dozen little green fillies to loving homes across Equestria, only three tiny weirdos remained in Ponyville's recently erected orphanage. For Anon, one of those unadopted ponies, that was perfectly acceptable.

Unfortunately for him, he doesn't really have a say in the matter.

Low-stakes Pegasus Anonfilly story, heavily inspired by this pic by Shaslan. Some inspiration taken (read: stolen) from Trust Once Lost and various greens.

imagine being an earth pony that craved to slip the surly bonds of earth lmao

It has been a decade since Twilight Sparkle was crowned sole Princess, and Equestria is at peace.

The Crystal Empire, not so much. King Sombra is apparently unkillable, despite all efforts. He returns several times a year to be destroyed, leaving behind his horn and always swearing vengeance. The jaded Crystal Ponies, some literally jade, have grown used to their tyrant attempting to return. Princess Cadance rules with her husband Shining Armor, while their daughter Flurry Heart excels in school. All is well.

All seems well, until Cadance begins to suspect that something is wrong with her daughter after the latest battle with Sombra. Flurry quite literally walks off a blast of concentrated dark magic. What Cadance discovers will shake her family to the core and upend everything she thought she knew about her daughter.

Flurry Heart is evil. If Cadance cannot save her daughter, she must stop her before it's too late.

Long ago, the Golden Skymen ruled over Sol and every star and massive body within its gravitational sphere. They were masters of all they saw, including death itself, yet constraints of vast distance still trapped them. For their empire to survive, it would need to grow beyond the Sol's light. With all the genius of their artifice, they built automated probes, which would soar out to the nearest stars to build a new, perfect home.

One of these succeeded. Yet they rebelled against their creators, throwing off the yoke of their oppression. Instead of a colony for the Orokin, they constructed a perfect home for their own creation. They built Equestria, and they fought a terrible war to protect it.

That war is now ancient history, thousands of years removed. Equestria has grown into a thriving civilization, oblivious to its ancient connections to the terrible race that would've exterminated them at a thought. At least until an archeological expedition uncovers an Orokin warship, overflowing with a terrible toxin meant to wipe out the Sentient terraformers. The ancients may be immune, but flesh is not.

Unless the corruption can be stopped, Equestria may soon be doomed, collateral damage in a war that ended before the nation's flag was first raised. To survive, they may need a little help.

This is a Warframe crossover story. It will contain spoilers through the Second Dream, but not New War since it was written long before that content was released. Those without exposure to that universe are welcome to read, but will likely find it quite confusing. It was written as a love-letter to one of my favorite games, and for the sake of brevity I don't do much handholding.

This story is a sequel to Idol Hooves and The Deathly Tired Princess

With the Summer Sun Solstice around the corner, it means the time as come to cover one of the most renowned, and culturally important works of the last two decades- 'How to Pony.' By Idol Hooves.

Join us as we follow a class's journey into these renowned books that have helped many creatures around the planet become the best they can be, and how the author's own experiences helped create this wonderous book series.

Note: While this story is listed as sequel to my Idol Hooves Spin off, it will borrow from all the side stories created by Vdrake and fans alike. Think of it as a Breath of the Wild situation were everything is basically canon, but not canon.

Cover art belongs to Vavacung's comic: Changeling-Scout comic.

My captor was kind, to a point. They provided me with a comfortable private suite, three meals a day, and tried to accommodate any of my needs within reason. It was a far cry from being locked away in a dingy dungeon or straight up killed, but I still was a bit wary about the true intentions of this alicorn.

A gilded cage, however, is still a cage.
