Sunset Shimmer had an urge to see Twilight Sparkle of Ponyville again after so long with her friends in the other world. One day, she mustered up the courage to step through the portal and say hello.

Much to her surprise, however, Twilight Sparkle was far... smaller than she expected.

Twilight Sparkle and Timber Spruce have been dating ever since the events of Camp Everfree.

But some time later, Twilight asks Sunset Shimmer to meet her in the school lab. Because Twilight has relationship worries—lots of them, and Sunset's the only person she trusts to help.

Not long after the girls saved Camp Everfree and embraced their newfound magical abilities, Sunset Shimmer starts acting strangely. She jumps every time her friends get even remotely close to her and she keeps everyone at a distance. This is especially worrying to Twilight Sparkle, who seeks how to make her best friend feel better.

Princess Twilight Sparkle is a teacher, a ruler, and the occasional savior of Equestria, and she loves it. Her jobs can be rewarding and fulfilling, but they can also be a bit exhausting. Hearing her friend is feeling a little worn out from all the responsibilities she has, Sunset Shimmer offers Twilight a holiday together across the portal in the human world. No evil magic, no intramural sports, and no one else. Just the two of them spending the entire day together.

If there was something that broke Rarity's heart more than seeing her best friend getting stood up, it was seeing Twilight go back to the library with a matching broken heart.

Luckily for Twilight, Rarity would be damned if she let that happen.

Sunset has a crush on Twilight. The problem is, she seems to have a type: people who are incredibly powerful, have some measure of authority and power in their positions, and still have very sweet personalities.

And Twilight is far more powerful and popular than Flash ever was.

But it's okay. It's not like Twilight likes her back, right? Right.

When Sunset and friends are whisked away to spend a few weeks bonding at Camp Everfree, they're less than stoked. Greeted by a falling-apart camp, smelly food, moldy showers, and staff who don't seem to have their heads screwed on straight, the girls believe their fate is sealed.

That is until one fateful night when the girls happen across something that may just turn legend into reality.

Although part of the series, this does not follow my previous Friendship Games' canon, and instead follows the proper movie canon. Spoilers are abound, so read at your own risk.

Sunset was enjoying her day, going through school as she was expected to do, when she's suddenly called to the Principal's office.

Confused, but with little choice in the matter, she answers, heading to Celestia's office. There, she finds the Principal sitting, wanting to have a chat.

Sunset was not prepared for anything like this.
