When they find themselves banished to a world full of strange two-legged creatures called humans, the Dazzlings find existence of true Equestrian magic at an unexpected place: Canterlot High School. After signing up to be new students at this high school, they find themselves stuck with a certain someone who just won't leave them alone.

WARNING: CONTAINS BOTH MINOR AND MAJOR RAINBOW ROCKS SPOILERS.

Please be aware the only reason there's a romance tag is because of some light shipping of Adagio and Sunset Shimmer which comes in a later chapter.

Also, the Dazzlings are half-Siren and half-pony in this fanfiction. My headcanon, my fic. It's as simple as that. Sue me.

Chapters will be posted on DeviantArt before they get posted on here. http://robocheatsy.deviantart.com/gallery/61662358/A-Dazzling-Tale

(I will post chapters here whenever possible I order for this to get caught up to the one I have on DeviantArt. After this is caught up, chapters will usually be posted on weekends (usually Saturdays.) )

Adagio is found sulking in an alley by a one miss Sunset Shimmer. Sunset manages to invite Adagio into her home for a friendly talk. The Dazzlings have had it pretty rough since their defeat, and Adagio is teetering over her breaking point. Could Sunset maybe get through her tough exterior and convince her she's in need of help?

- Not a sundagio shipfic -

Cute ship though. Not my favorite Sunset pair, but it's cute.

Rated T for: mild language

What if the confrontation between Sunset and the Dazzlings in the hallway went a little differently? A "What if" scenario, with Sunset Shimmer puts her darker side to good use.

This story is a sequel to Messenger

Sunset Shimmer has found herself spending a great deal of time with the Dazzlings as of late, as they adjust to their new life-after-magic. Though, considering what the four of them used to be, does she really know Adagio as well as she thinks?

A big thanks to Bookish Delight for collaborative help with vetting my ideas, supplying a few, authorial advice, editing, and general encouragement throughout the process here.

And thanks, as usual, to Csquared08 for additional pre-reading and some brief technical input.

Teen for occasional language, alcohol references and light intimacy.

The Sirens are working their way toward some kind of reformation, spending time with the Rainbooms to pick up some tips and tricks to 'friendship'. Though they sometimes fall back on their old roots, the sirens are still slowly getting the hang of this friendship business.

However, Sunset notices them acting strangely sometimes and wonders what could be behind it. With Pinkie's help, the entire group learns why Adagio doesn't like hugs.

Prepare yourself for mood whiplash. That's your only warning.

Another day of no progress on Earth comes to a screeching halt as Adagio Dazzle senses a pulse of Equestrian magic. Rushing to find the source, she and her siren sisters discover the last thing they could have expected. A young girl claiming to be a pegasus stands before them, scared and lost. With nothing else to do and not heartless enough to throw the filly-turned-human onto the street, the three sisters decide to take the buttercream girl into their care.

When Sunset saw Sonata Dusk return to CHS and experience a very familiar treatment, she encouraged her friends to reach out to the Dazzlings just as they'd done with her after the Fall Formal.

Several months later, Aria and Sonata have come to discover some joy in their new life-after-magic. Adagio, however, has continued to refuse the offer—out of bitterness, spite and an unwillingness to give those 'rainbooms' the satisfaction of seeing her break.

What she has yet to realize is that clinging to this resentment is hurting no one but herself.

An argument and a car crash leave one of the sirens--Adagio, Sonata, and Aria--dead. They know this because Death itself has shown up to chat with them and to ensnare Adagio into a game of wits with the very lives of her companions at stake. Adagio doesn't want anyone to die, but she's not so happy with the way they've been arguing so much lately either...

An EQG story. Absolutely no connection to The Years of Ar and S.

Three weeks after the events of Rainbow Rocks, the sirens are desperate. Without their hearts—the jewels that hold their magic—they have no power. They can't sing, can't manipulate people, and worst of all, can't feed. Their only hope is to restore their hearts, and they need to do it soon, before all three of them starve.

The problem is, they're not sure how to fix the hearts. All they've managed to figure out is that they'll need magic to do it, and magic is exactly what they don't have. Scared, starving, and completely out of options, the sirens turn to the last people who would ever want to help them, and the only ones who actually can: the Rainbooms.
