//------------------------------// // Prologue // Story: A Dazzling Tale // by RoboCheatsyVA TM //------------------------------// I led my friends Sonata Dusk and Aria Blaze around the corridor; the guards were on our heels and we were running out of places to run. It was as if the dungeon was an endless maze. We were desperately trying to find a way to escape. "Hold it right there!" a guard said, cutting us off. Startled, I gasped. "Never!" I snarled, teleporting myself (I'm a Unicorn) and my friends farther down the corridor. Wherever we turned there were always more guards or a dead end. I was beginning to lose hope. It was like this world just wanted us to get banished. "Dagi, what will happen if we get banished?" Sonata asked. "I won't let us get banished," I answered. "Really, Adagio? Because it seems to me like we're definitely going to be banished," Aria said bitterly. I turned sharply to face my pessimistic friend. "Just hush, would you?" I said. I turned back to my original position and proceeded to lead the girls forward. We rounded a few more corners and it seemed we were safe, but we still hadn't escaped. We still needed to reach an upper level of the castle, which would require some sneaking around in order to get out. We climbed up a set of stairs and went in a hall that would lead us out. However, just when we thought we going to make it out, we encountered Starswirl the Bearded. He looked disappointed. "Adagio, I had hoped it was never going to come down to this and that you would stray from the dark path you're on, but now it seems you've given me no choice but to banish you and your followers from Equestria forever," he said. I confidently stepped forward. "Well, you'll have to fight me first. The winner stays while the loser leaves Equestria forever," I said with a confident sneer. "I had always hoped I could take you on horn to horn, but I never thought it would be like this. You have one last chance to change and give up your Siren Stone before I banish you. Will you agree?" Starswirl said. I narrowed my eyes. "No," I said, smirking. "Challenge accepted," Starswirl said. He fired a beam of magic from his horn. I fired an energy ball from my horn as an interception. As the two forms of magic collided, it created a dust cover similar to a smokescreen enabling us to sneak away. I knew that if we were to go outside now, we would be caught. So, I led the girls into a room with a magic mirror that led to another world. I motioned for everyone to jump through the mirror. There were guards on our tail as we dove for the mirror. The portal led us to the human world, which was so similar yet different from Equestria.
