Rarity has always gone for stallions her entire life, but something in her tells her she's looking in all the wrong places. During a party, she realizes a love she had never noticed before for a certain Rainbow-maned marefriend of hers.

Unable to get enough courage to admit her love, Rarity ends the night wishing for a little more, and her dreams end up granting her that wish, letting her experience something she never would be able to.

Rarity and Rainbow Dash are madly in love, and even live together. Or so Dash's sister thinks.

Rainbow has kinda been lying to her so that she would stop setting her up with dates. What had started as a little white lie about how Rarity and her were starting to date, quickly spiraled out of control.

Now they want her to visit. With Rarity. Yeah...this can't possibly go wrong!

When a freak science experiment at Twilight's library zaps Rainbow Dash with temporary aphasia, it's up to Applejack to get her a cure.

Applejack and Twilight are good ponies. They've been dating for three months, and they both agree that some things are worth waiting for. But when Rainbow Dash brags about what she and Rarity did on their second date, it kicks off a day of questions for both couples. What do good ponies do when, and why?

At what should have been a routine doctor's visit, Applejack learns that she can never bear foals of her own. After an emotional breakdown, her friends do their best to calm her.

However, as the discussion develops, nopony is prepared for Twilight's revelation: the grand event which brought them together has left a hidden scar within each of them.

Tempers flare, relationships are strained, and the strength of their friendship is tested as each must come to terms with her newfound sterility.

Can she ever find forgiveness for her mistake, both mentally and spiritually? Most importantly, will she forgive herself?
