Raridash is, to me, a very weird ship. But I'm not just going to write a story with the pairing, without figuring out a way to make it work.

I believe I had written that when I created just the description of the story. Probably because at the time I wanted to write something with the pairing, but I didn't know too much about.
So, I thought about how the ship would work and read a few Raridash stories. Then I started to write, understanding how they would get together and stay together.
I just want to point out that there's a spelling error in the short description; it spells Rarity as "Rartity".

I don't think this should end with both of them being a couple. Let Rainbow pay for her lie and look for a real relationship. Why is it that all of the fics where one of the characters has an incompatible orientation have to be depressing tragedy-fics? Why can't they just move on?

I don't think that's going to happen here - still, it is something that should be done. The build up of a normal shipfic followed by sudden realisation that rejection is not the end of the world would be priceless.

Rarity... well, I don't care if she turns out to swing that way, or either way, or anything, just that the plot would feel cheaper if she does end up with Rainbow after she pulled a stunt like that.
