Several months after moving to Ponyville, Vinyl and Octavia are planning their upcoming wedding. With help from friends like Lyra and Bon-Bon, what could possibly go wrong?

On her way to Canterlot High for her music club, Octavia meets Vinyl Scratch and is annoyed by the music blasting from her headphones. After getting yelled at, Vinyl responds by making odd gestures with her hands. It turns out, Vinyl Scratch is deaf, and she feels music instead of listening to it. Feeling ashamed, Octavia wishes to make it up to her, but is surprised by Vinyl's request.

Vinyl Scratch has been trying to get Octavia's attention for a while now. It's hard to get your feelings across sometimes when you're a deaf mute, and the cellist has been either ignoring or misinterpreting Vinyl's signals up until now.

Vinyl Scratch is always up for a good party! But when she partys a bit too hard, even for her standards, she wakes up in a mysterious place with no memories of how she got there, and only the soft sound of Fur Elise to greet her listening ears.

Vinyl Scratch had been mute all her life. She's long since accepted that. It doesn't get in her way as much as one might think.

But, when it comes to telling Octavia how she feels, there could be no greater obstacle.

A few years have passed since Princess Luna was purged of the evil known as Nightmare Moon by the Elements of Harmony. She took back her rightful place on the throne of Equestria at her sisters side.
On a sunny day, a couple of seemingly mundane events trigger memories long forgotten. Memories of a secret Luna hast kept to herself for far too long. Facing Celestia won't be easy. But she has no choice. It is her duty to care for her subjects, and she has to retake the responsibility she could not fulfill while banished to the moon.

This story takes place right before the season 4 finale.

Gari is the last surviving of the Children of the Night. Desperate to find her Mother, Princess Luna, before she dies, Gari ends up in Ponyville, finding Twilight Sparkle and demanding to see the Princess of the Night.

But will Luna face the crime she committed in the past, or will she simply shove it under the rug of her mind, like she's done all these years?
