Hiya! My name is Pinkie Pie, though you probably already knew that! I know you’re always looking for a good story, and I have tons of those, so I figured I could share one with you! Now, usually my stories are super fun and happy, and honestly that’s what I prefer, but there’s a story I haven’t told yet that I think I’m ready to share. It’s about the most super terrific mare who ever lived, and how she helped me be who I am today.

We all have that someone or a close group of people who connect us to the world, but what are we to do when they're taken from us one by one?

Such was the case with Twilight and her friends.
A couple of years after becoming a Princess she had to deal with losing a close friend of hers every few years or so, but things are easier when you have the ponies you can share stories with about the one who passed.
Pinkie leaves one last letter to Twilight asking her to be strong in the knowledge that they would all be re-united someday, and that her friends would all be awaiting that day.

Dash has one simple question for Pinkie, 'Why does she smile all the time?', but can she accept the answer?

Gummy is the best pet in the world! He always listens to me, never moans or complains when I talk too much, and always comes along with me without any resistance. Sure, he isn't much of a talker, but he's a really swell listener. Every day I spend with him is super fantastic!

Yet, Mr. and Mrs. Cake always look sad every time I play with Gummy. Those sillies! Don't they know that Gummy couldn't hurt me even if he wanted to? He's all gums! Duh! Even my friends have been showing "concerns" about my relationship with Gummy.

I don't know why they're being such party poopers all of a sudden!

One day, Fluttershy started coughing heavily. Her friends brought her into the hospital, and to their horror, the doctors diagnosed an advanced lung cancer in Fluttershy’s body. Pinkie Pie can’t accept that her friend has to die, and locks herself in her room. Months pass, and now Fluttershy only has a few hours left. She wants to see Pinkie Pie once more.
