After the invention of radio, DJ-P0n3 (aka Vinyl Scratch) holds the first Equestrian talk show with her co-host Octavia. Octavia quickly finds out her superior is very eccentric, leading their broadcast to be constantly derailed, yet somehow remain popular. These episodes were recorded for historical significance and transcribed. These are the Vinyl Scratch Tapes.

Vinyl Scratch had assumed it would be another quiet afternoon with Octavia.

That soon changes when a surprise visit from another guest unexpectedly reunites Vinyl Scratch with a once treasured possession from her past. Prompted by her moment of nostalgia, she begins to tell the story behind the most dramatic time in her young life.

A thousand years is a long time for sisters to be apart. Celestia begins to feel again with a part of her heart that went numb all those night ago, but her little sister's return feels almost too good to be true. Luna may feel insecure in an Equestria different than the one she remembered but she now knows how much Celestia missed her...and how much she missed her big sister.
