Fluttershy wanted to see an extinct flower, so she makes a deal with Dr. Whooves to take her the past so she can see them. Once there she meets a young Discord and befriends him. Fluttershy altered the past and she changed the future into a dark one.

Fluttershy and Discord are close friends, but both want to be so much more until a strange fox comes into the mix. What will Discord do when he discovers Fluttershy has become a target for some dangerous creatures?

Fluttershy has agreed to accompany Discord to the Grand Galloping Gala.

Although they are attending the Gala as friends, Discord doesn’t mind at all and he is ecstatic about the evening.

“I was her personal chariot to the Grand Galloping Gala and although I could have teleported us there, I knew Fluttershy would enjoy the ride. She nodded off just a few miles into the journey and as she napped peacefully I spotted the Gala in the distance. We would be there very soon and the silence got me thinking about many things. Love, friendship, and the magic of a perfect night.”

Discord is adamant on making the night perfect for Fluttershy and if anypony gets in his way…chaos will reign on them 1000 fold.

This is my first Fanfiction so feedback is welcomed. :)

The Rainboom happens as it should, and a few certain fillies earn their cutie marks because of it. Except little Pinkamena Diane Pie, who went inside before she could witness it. Thus, she never left the rock farm.

That meant she wasn't in Ponyville to throw that party that inspired a runaway colt named Cheese Sandwich.

However, the two end up meeting in adulthood, and the broke wanderer Cheese takes a job at the rock farm, and works alongside the grumpy Pinkamena and her family.

My take on an AU, created upon realizing that Cheese Sandwich was indirectly affected by the Sonic Rainboom. And in case you're wondering, the whole eternal night thing goes the same way as the show (except a different mare--whoever you imagine--wields the Element of Laughter).

Chapter Descriptions*

Nuzzle: On their way to a picnic after the Tirek escapade, Discord gives Fluttershy a gift, and in return receives affection in a puzzling way he can't describe. With the help of his friends, can he figure out what happened?

Cuddle: Fluttershy is sick, so Discord decides to take care of her. He'll get her back to health...and keep her warm.

Fly: After helping an injured bear and her cub, Fluttershy must make her way back home in the middle of a storm. Her wings too weak for the winds, she gets hurt. Who will save her? And why, oh why was she born a Pegasus if she cannot even fly? Only love can save her now.

Confess: As all of the gang enjoy each other's company after helping Applejack out at the farm, a misunderstanding happens between Discord and Fluttershy when they are caught holding tails while having a snack with their friends. They have a fight, and Discord leaves them all with a broken heart. Can Fluttershy and Discord work things out? All they have to do is fess up.

Date: After a week apart, Discord asks Fluttershy, his friend-turned-marefriend, to help him 'decorate his room'. But is that really what he's up to? Could it be...a date? But why would he lie?

Celebrate:It's been a year since Tirek's defeat. Dreams bother Discord yet again, and Fluttershy is acting suspicious around him. It becomes clear to him that she's keeping a few secrets from him, and he needs to figure out why.

This story is a sequel to More Than Trust

After the happenings of More Than Trust, Discord must learn to deal with his new state and manage his relationship with Fluttershy. The latter is easy, but the former is something that he hadn't even thought about handling. It's rough, but that's okay. Fluttershy's there to help him.

She's always there.

However, no amount of comfort from Fluttershy has been able to quell it. It feels familiar, but it's a stranger to him.

Is it right to hide it from his love, or could she be hurt in the process of keeping such a secret?
