Trapped in a future where Twilight--now known as Andromeda--has turned into an uncaring, emotionless dark-magic wielding empress, Rarity sometimes contemplates just... you know... accelerating her trip to the heavens, so to speak.

On one such time, she's surprised to find it's Andromeda of all ponies who makes her change her mind.

Takes place in an AU by Maximasmac (a brief explanation of the AU is inside the story). Artwork is also by Maxima and depicts Andromeda.

Gabby and Gallus go on a quest to find something to eat. Unfortunately for them, citizens of Ponyville seem to have a completely different ideas about food.

Gilda wasn't always a bully. She was always antisocial and had a bit of a mean streak, but not a bully exactly. She was quite the opposite when she first moved to a city full of ponies when she was a teen, or "dinner" as she would have called them in ages past. After a while she resigned herself to exile in her temporary home, just waiting to cross the sea again. A certain annoying, gutsy, and possibly a bit insane mare changed that. We all know how their story ended; this is the day it started.

I'm aware this was probably done to death way back in the days of yore when Season 1 hadn't even finished, but I had a tiny idea to put my own little spin on it, so I figured I might as well get it out there and give it my best while I'm at it.

A bad day and a rainy night. It’s enough to drive a mare to drink. Winding up in a dark bar on the streets of Canterlot, Rainbow Dash finds herself meeting up with a mare who is elegant, graceful, and totally gorgeous. All the qualities that Dash thinks she completely lacks. What the heck could they have in common?

On this particular night, far more than she might realize.

It is finally time for Luna to set everything straight between her sisters. All of them.

An entry in A Thousand Words Contest II and winner of a judge's prize in the Experimental category.

A normal end to a normal day -- at least, that's what it was supposed to be.

But it wasn't.

Luna went to raise the moon as usual, but something went wrong. Terribly wrong. She felt it, but she couldn't stop it.

None of us could.

It appeared too suddenly -- acted too quickly.

The only warning we received was a roar and a bright flash of light, then everything was gone. No more Canterlot, no more ponies, no more anything.

Nothing survived.

Nothing... except for us and whatever 'it' is.

We may be immortal beings, but that doesn't make things any better -- if anything, it makes the pain all that much worse. The only thing we can really do now is try to avenge those dear to us. Our subjects... our families... my friends...

Everything.

I don't care how long it takes, and I don't care if it's a pointless battle. All I care about now is making sure we put that thing down for good.

After that?
