It was a normal day for the eight-year old apple farmer. All of her chores were done for the day and the sun was beginning to set.

Normally, young Applejack would head inside to eat dinner and prepare for bed. Just as she was about to pick her last apple from the tree, she saw a rainbow-like tail peeking from behind another tree.

Zap-Apple season was near and she figured one had grown early but...

Why was it crying?

What happens when you see only what you want to see, hear only what you want to hear, and project those views onto somepony against their will? What happens when that fiction becomes reality, and their reality becomes everypony else's fiction?

Ditzy Doo has to deal with it on a daily basis. Try as she might, ponies still see her as the klutzy, muffin obsessed mailmare that she's always been, or at least, that they think she's always been.

After four harrowing years of civil war brought about by Nightmare Moon's return, Canterlot has finally fallen. Princess Celestia has been banished to the moon, and now a new alicorn rules over Equestria. For the supporters of Nightmare Moon, the new eternal night is a time for celebration. For the ponies who fought for Celestia, it means something else entirely. For when the war is lost and the victor demands fealty, the vanquished are given only two choices: bow low and kiss the ground beneath her hooves, or die.

Not everpony who bows does so out of love for the conqueror, of course. Some do it to bide their time. Some do it out of a sense of opportunity. Most bow merely to survive. All of them are liars. But how long can a pony tell the same lie before it becomes the truth?

And what happens to that pony when their lies are lies no more?

When Pinkie Pie is charged by Rarity to promote her cloth dyeing competition, she does it in one of the many methods she is familiar with.

She trots around town with a huge sign strapped to her back. However, reactions seem to be mostly panicky... there couldn't be any reason for that, could there?

The doctor pronounced it officially: Scootaloo will never fly. However, Rainbow Dash and Applejack introduce her to another pony who has a story they hope Scootaloo can relate to.

While Celestia did everything in her power to prepare Twilight for her role as her successor (whether she wanted it or not), the one thing she did not prepare her for was the duties of her sister. And it’s a little difficult for Twilight to rule Equestria in the day if she couldn’t even govern the dream realm.

Luckily, she had a certain guidance counsellor on hoof.

Twilight is a newly appointed alicorn, she just got her wings a couple of days ago. Of course, the first thing she did was study them but after doing that she promptly passed out. Waking up the next day, she soon realizes that she couldn't feel her wings. In a panic she checks her medical books, will she be ok?
