The CMC love to hang out, solve Cutie Mark problems, and have sleepovers, but the other Crusaders start to notice that they know much less about Scootaloo than they had originally thought. When an event happens that shocks everypony in Ponyville, The CMC are taken on an adventure that digs up parts of Scootaloo's past that even she didn't know about.

After a long day of peril and danger, all Twilight wants to do is cuddle up with her baby dragon, who, for only a brief minute, had been the ruler of all dragonkind in Equestria.

She told him she loved him. She told him she would never send him away. So why does he feel like she's leaving him behind as she heads off into her new life as a royal princess?

It takes place after Twilight forgives Trixie for what she did in the episode "Magic Duel", and Spike doesn't buy it. He runs off in hurt and Applejack and the others tell Twilight that Spike really missed Twilight and how he really sees Twilight as his family. Now Twilight has to fix this problem between her and Spike.

He buys Twilight the perfect gift, hoping it will help build his courage, so he can ask her an important question. One that will change both of their lives forever. But before he can give it to her, he accidentally ruins it.
