Ah, love. When a colt loves a mare. Or a mare loves a colt. It is such a delicate matter. Like a fragile egg balancing perfectly on the tip of a blade. One wrong move and the egg will fall. The love will shatter and break with the egg. If Spike makes a wrong move. His and Rainbow Dash's egg of love could shatter. Spike can not let that happen.

After an accidental storm is created at the Cloud Factory, and heads towards Appleloosa, Rainbow, Billy, Hoops, and Score are forced to work together as a team to dissipate it before it floods Appleloosa. Hopefully a certain secret doesn't get out either.

(Note: This is a story I wrote quite some years ago, and was originally published on my account on DA. It was written pre-season 2, back before SoarinDash was a thing, and was my contribution to the back-then-rare concept of Rainbow being paired up with a guy. I will admit, that this isn't exactly my best work, but as one of my earlier works, it was no less important.)

Spike was sure that this had to be heartbreak. His life was cracking in front of him and he thought that he would never find love that was truely true. But he found out that if you look to the skies, anything can happen.

“That’s what I don’t get. What is it about a pretty face that makes it so irresistible?” The young drake paused, staring longingly at the gorgeous unicorn. As he focused more on the image of Fleur Dis Lee, his imagination got the better of him, causing his heart to palpitate rapidly. “How does one approach somepony who gives off this vibe of being so…” he paused again, unconsciously licking his lips, “...untouchable?”

Spike and Rainbow Dash are bored. It seems they've done everything there is to do in Canterlot. But when Spike suddenly spots the exotically beautiful Fleur Dis Lee with her friends, an idea sprouts. What will the pair have in store for Fleur?

Note: Gamble Fish was an inspiration for this particular story.

Twilight is going to have another slumber party and each of the Mane 6 is invited. Rainbow Dash however, can't stand the usual events expected at such a party, so she invites Spike to help even things out. Will they both survive the night?

It's amazing how much can change in a month. One day the baby dragon in the crystal castle next door is small enough to be carried on your back, thirty days later and he's larger than you, learning to use the new pair of wings he just grew.

Or at least trying to learn to fly. Still, everyone has to start somewhere, and even the greats sometimes come from the humblest beginnings. Just look at Rainbow Crash.

Actually, don't. Look Rainbow in the eye, and she might just take that as a challenge. Poor Spike never stood a chance.

Spike and Rainbow Dash are pitted in a fight to write the better story.
