A -not so- brief post about what I've read thus far.

I mentioned this was coming, right?
I was gonna briefly describe all my faved material?
Well, yeah here's that... god, this'll take awhile.

So, these are in order from most recently added to... well, added furthest back. I did a few changes, so that's only mostly the case. That's how my faves are stored by default.
Warning: I will use language, and not all the fics are SFW; there's lots of NSFW there. I didn't mark this post as NSFW, but if you have a problem with language and links to NSFW stories, don't read.
So, let's begin.

Truth or Dare
It's a humanized fic, incomplete as of this post, that... well, has the main cast playing Truth or Dare at Dashie's house. Alcohol gets involved, and antics ensue. Good for a laugh.

Rising Again
SpikeXDash fic about Spike crushing on Dashie while on the rebound from a failed relationship with Rarity. Nice fic, it's currently on hiatus. I faved because it's an odd ship, but the way it's written keeps the case basically in character enough to be believable, while also making the plot thus far also believable.

Poetry
A TwiXMac fic where Twi finds out about Mac's secret hobby and... well at this point, I'm basically repeating the fairly accurate description on the page. So yeah, it's a nice, short read, worth the time for sure.

Dormant
Big Mac centered fic that briefly mentions his history with romance and why he doesn't get into it. It's pretty good for a short read, just enough info and detail to make you want more.

Clear
This is a sequel to the next one down the list. Applejack is trying to win over Rarity, basically. It's incomplete at the moment.

Misconception
Through a misunderstanding, Rarity's father thinks she's bringing Applejack with her for a Father's Day lunch to introduce her as her marefriend.

Soarin's Panty Raid
Soarin breaks into Dashie's house to steal her panties. It's pretty hilarious.

Saorin's Doll
Same author as the above fic, also hilarious. Goes into detail about how Soarin has a Rainbow Dash doll he can't sleep without, stuff like that.

Storm Clouds Gathering
It's incomplete, so there isn't much I can say so far without giving it away, but I think it could be worth the read, especially since it has potential.

May the Best Rut Win!
FluttersXApplejack story. They're married, but want a foal that's at least biologically one of theirs. Incomplete, but I'm looking forward to more.

Sweet as Caramel
Revolves around Caramel, with appearances from Rarity and Twilight. Still a bit depressed from a break-up, Caramel accidentally bumps into the most beautiful mare he's ever met. When he ends up getting to go on a date with her, he goes to Rarity and Twilight to help him prepare for his date with the stunning Canterlot mare. But something about the mare seems familiar...
Great read, funny and romantic, and an odd ship.

Best Chance for Romance
Spike loves Rarity, but Rarity is after Prince Blueblood. This is pre-gala - in fact, this is going to take place AT the gala. Spike calls on Blueblood in order to help him win Rarity over from... well, Blueblood. But he doesn't tell him that part. It's incomplete, with the hilarity just picking up.

The Twisted Pony
In the universe portrayed by this author, apparently Spike is seen as Celestia's son and a prince, basically. So, Spike finds a door he's been told never to go in, and someone drops the key to go in accidentally. He takes it and uses it, and finds Chrysalis imprisoned inside. It's an interesting read, incomplete but hoping for more soon.

Heart to Heart
Spike is being babysat by Cadence, and he asks her about love. It's one of the funniest fics I've read recently. Highly recommended.

Still In The Sky
Supposed to develop into a SpikeXDash fic, but it isn't very far in yet. Faved because it's well written, and I want to see where it's going, so by favoriting it I can get notices when it's updated.

Party With the Princesses
The Princesses seem to be planning a girls' night out for Luna's birthday (as I recall). Incomplete, looking forward to more, as it's been a fun read so far.

Spiked Cider
Incomplete SpikeXApplejack fic with lots of potential. They get drunk, they kiss, they wake up and are all "WTF," but there's gonna be more to it than that of course. It never just ends with "let's never speak of this again," right?

The Kiss in His Eyes
RarityXMac fic in development. It's incomplete so far, but again, I look forward to more.

Glimmerhorn Vale
Brief TwilightXTrixie fic. Nice, short read, worth it if you've got a few minutes.

Celestia's Teeth
Hilarious comedy/slice fic about Celestia and her everyday life and how she tried to resist attempts at pampering her. Lots of laughs here.

Reality
Sad TwiDash fic. Seriously, I cried reading this. Run away if you hate feels. It's incredible and well-written, but the FEELS, god the FEELS! Easily one of the saddest fics I've EVER read, EVER. Maybe even the saddest. Many manly tears were shed.

Life's Little Fortune Cookies
A growing collection of short Romance/Slice TwiDash stories.

Journey to the Center of the Rainbow
TwiDash fic about Twilight planning the perfect birthday present for Dashie. Incomplete, but I'm looking forward to updates.

Sewing the Red Thread of Fate
RariShy fic.... incomplete, so much more would ruin too much at the moment.

Getting the Guard
Ah.... well, it's incomplete, but has potential. It's too shirt to say much about without ruining it or basically summarizing it.

Fluttershy The Phone Sex Operator
Fluttershy has to take care of her animals, but is low on bits for food and supplies. She could got to Dashie, but doesn't want to seem like she's using her secretly rich best friend for her money. She knows her other friends don't have the means to help. She sees an ad for a phone sex operator job, and hesitantly takes it. Hilarity, drama, and chaos ensue. There is mild clop, but it's all for the sake of comedy, and the story doesn't at all revolve around or depend on it. It's ongoing, and is regularly updated, and I LOVE this fic. It's one of the reasons I wish I had more "Favorites" slots on my user page.

Fluttershy Wears Glasses
Ah... better just go read it. It's very worth the read. The title's pretty self-explanatory.

Rainbow Dash Dies An Awesome Death
Dashie gathers her friends to tell them the story of how she died. From the author of the above two fics. A must read if you like slightly inappropriate comedies.

Spike Takes Awesome Lessons
Ongoing fic about how Spike wants to learn to be awesome from Dashie in order to improve himself and win Rarity over.

Extremely terrible and Horrifying Stories
Basically one big fourth wall breaking satire about violent grimdarks. Hilarious, especially if you're a fan of breaking the fourth wall.

Sun Princess
Centered around Applejack's pet, Winona, this is basically tells a bit about Winona's final days. It's pretty sad, so if you don't want feels, don't read. But it's a very good story.

One Day
Rainbow Dash and Applejack just made their relationship official last night, but Applejack is behaving strangely, and Rainbow Dash is suspicious.

Home Grown
RariJack fic about Applejack dealing with her feelings for Rarity. Very good read.

Two Cups of Tea
RariShy (kinda) fic. Rarity and Flutters are having their normal weekly spa date. Flutters confides in Rarity, but... ah, well, read the fic. It's pretty sad, but a satisfying read.

A Million Things to Do
A slice fic where Pinkie tells Dashie the world is ending, and gets her to basically go through her bucket list with her. Nothing NSFW here. It's a pretty touching fic, if I were to tell much more I'd be giving spoilers.

Sweet Nothings
Just why is Dashie the best customer at Sugarcube Corner recently, despite hating sweets?

Shipping Goggles
Rarity seems to have a tendency of seeing things that aren't there and shipping her friends together.

Pinkie Watches Paint Dry
The title is completely self explanatory. It's hilarious to read.

Of Pinkie Pie and a Wall
Pinkie Pie has always been known to break through the fourth wall. But does that mean she always LIKES it? How well do we REALLY know her in that little window of time we watch her on TV every week?

The Creepypasta Ponies
An incomplete fic with lots of potential. Many of the residents of Equestria are pulled into a world where they're forced to live through Creepypasta stories. At first, I was skeptical of this story, but I'm looking forward to more, as it's really quite good.

Doll:Maker
Sequel to "Doll" by the same author (my next entry, actually).

Doll
Trixie finds that she has drunkenly ordered a lifelike Twilight Sparkle doll from the internet. At first, she's angry and wants to rip up the doll, but she changes her mind and becomes attached to it, with nobody else in her life. The story's worth the read, and actually quite sad and moving if you get into it.

Gummy's Sleepover
Pinkie has a sleepover for Gummy... and her friends find themselves having to break the innocence of their happy-go-lucky friend.

The Words Won't Come
Well-written AppleShy fic.

Ponies Visit McDonald's
Funny, random comedy about the Ponies accidentally ending up in the human world and coming out of the portal in - you guessed it - McDonald's.

Taken for Granite
A great PinkieJack fic. I can't describe it enough to do it justice; it very nearly ended up in my top five.

Building Bridges
One of my favorite TwiDash fics to date.

Pinkie Pie's Hero
Pinkie and Dashie dress as their heroes for a day. Pinkie says she was going to dress as her favorite hero, but went with her second favorite because she thought Dashie would dress as the same one. Who is this hero Pinkie is constantly gushing about?
If you've ever read a fic before, you can figure that out in under five seconds. Great read, though.

Rainbow Dash's Best Plan Ever
Dash plans to use Nightmare Night to scare Pinkie into her arms... but it doesn't go as planned.

No Recipe For Perfection
A great RariPie fic. I rarely find this ship, especially this well done.

The sweetie Chronicles: Fragments
When a lab accident goes wrong, Sweetie Belle has to go and retrieve fragments of her beloved mentor, Twilight Sparkle.
This fic is, I believe, my current favorite fic ever. That's saying something. It's ongoing, incomplete, but plenty long enough that it'll take you awhile to catch up. Took me a few hours to read.

Causality
Favorite PinkieXTwilight fic ever.

Carousel
Ah, and now for the grimdarks that are further back...
Carousel was... well, very good. I can't spoil it, but there are Diamond Dogs (that are stupid like the show, but are also ruthless and brutal), kidnapping, and a perfect amount of pain and gore, with plenty of creativity. One of my favorite grimdark reads ever.

The Best Most Awesome Radical Character EVER
It's a fic of how lame Mary-Sue OCs are, making fun of them, and a bit of fourth wall breaking - literally, they say they're breaking the fourth wall, I think at one point.

The End of the Rainbow: Director's Cut
The End of the Rainbow with all the violence and gore it was originally meant to have. It explains Pinkie Pie's "insanity" from Cupcakes, by changing it up and doing it a different way. It's definitely worth the read. Very much a grimdark, derr.

Forever Faithful
While not violent or gory, this story... well, brr. Twilight dies - the beginning of the story takes place at her funeral - but she'd sending letters FROM THE GRAVE. It gets darker and weirder and creepier. Worth the read... god, I hate that cover pic, though, talk about jumpscare. Fits perfectly, but still.

Love is Abloom
Applebloom has a crush on Spike, has for awhile. She finally decided she's gonna confess, and so goes to Rarity to get help to look her best when she does. Then... well, spoilers.

Everything is Fine
Meteor strikes Ponyville, everyone dies, Fluttershy was in a cave and somehow made it out alive... she goes insane. More would get me going into detail and spoilers, but basically yeah, Flutters goes batshit crazy. One of my fave fics, well worth the read.

Killing Mary Sue
Another fic about Mary Sue ponies. Everyone loves this new pony except Twilight, who knows something's up somehow.

Diamond in the Rough
RariJack fic, one of my faves, I secretly hope/wish there will be a sequel or spinoff someday because of the ending. A must read for fans of the ship.

Pages of Harmony
Twilight decides to experiment on her friends in order to pull their Elements from them... by brutally torturing them and killing them in mostly ironic and definitely cruel ways. If you love cruel, gory fics and insane Twilight, it's a must read.

Shipping Sickness
.....*snort chuckle* I can't... just go read it...

To Be Young and Stupid
ApplebloomXOC, first person POV (you're the OC main character). It's a cute little story about budding romance.

It Takes a Village
Spike is growing up. He can't even fit in the library anymore. This eventually brings problems with it that need to be addressed. It's a touching slice of life fic with hints of romance and such underneath.

SIX walk IN
Grimdark. Twilight has a plan meant to scare Pinkie Pie for her birthday as a prank. They go to a haunted house mentioned in urban legend.

Something Sweet To Bite
The CMC inadvertently summon an old, dark force that threaten to destroy Equestria.

About Last Night
TwiJack fic where drunken fun leads to twilight and Applejack waking up at the library, in bed together, married the next morning. There's other side romance, but this is the main thing. THE funniest fic I've read, one of my faves.

Greenfire
Alternate Universe fic where Spike was never hatched by Twilight, and instead grew up alone in the Everfree. Rarity runs into him while digging for gems one day. Still incomplete, hope to see more soon. One of my faves.

The Stone
Slowly building to be a TrixieXMac fic, but it's taking a slow, natural pace with things instead of kind of forcing it all. More details from the author and in comments and such. Currently On Hiatus, but hoping this isn't so for long.

Cheerilee's Garden
Also contains the sequel, Scarlet Harvest.
Cheerilee uses a school play as a ruse to cover up the brutal murders of all her students.

Perfect For Me
Twilight discovers how to clone herself, and falls in love with... well, herself. Hilarious romantic comedy with self-shipping.

So...... that's about all for now. I'll do more updates later, probably tonight. Yes, this is all 70-ish of them. Holy crap that took forever to do. I mean, damn. But yeah, that's all my faves on this site. Hope this helps you find some good fics.
