After her extended leave-of-absence, Scootaloo finally gets to return to the Wonderbolt Academy. She couldn't be more excited. Once again, she gets to fly with the best of the best, reunite with her fellow cadets and hang out with her friends at the academy. But she is in for a surprise; a lot can change in a month.

Meanwhile, Spitfire feels that the cadets need to work together as a team and calls in—what she believes—is the perfect pony for the job. However, what starts out as a simple training exercise soon escalates into a fight for their lives.

She travels all over Equestria, meets nobility, famous and common ponies alike, and spreads her special talent to all those who can enjoy it. After her "eventful" visit, Babs Seed writes to her cousin, Apple Bloom, about her life back home in Manehattan.
