Several years after the events of "The Fall of Spike the Dragon", The group of ponies stolen by Lord Darkness have grown into strong, trained fighters that follow his every command. With this victory and power, Lord Darkness has successfully gotten almost everypony in the land to bow down to him. However, with a resistance, and a half-loyal army, there's no telling if he will continue to succeed.

With what's going on, anyone could rise above the rest.

This story is a sequel to The Diary of Spike the Dragon

Spike is on a mission. A mission to save himself and his 'friends' from everypony. He believes that Twilight and the others are falling into their clutches and he must stop them. What happens now? Innocent lives are gone, ponies panic, and our heroes have to decide between friendship and the lives of other ponies.

They should've stopped prancing long ago. They should've died before their kin did. They should've had a funeral with their family there to mourn their death.

But they never did.

And though they've lived with this pain for longer than they ever should... Their friendship stays strong. They are inseparable. Nothing can take away their friendship and their love for one another. But that's the problem.
