Think of everything you hate about people online. Now bundle up all those bad traits and throw it into a pony. You now have Caps Lock: an over opinionated, egotistic pony that simply enjoys the anguish of others.

Now throw that pony into Ponyville Elementary School, and you get this story.

Ten ponies find themselves facing the end of the world together on a desolate island in a sea of lava. Pillars of molten rock continue to pour from supernatural clouds of unknown origin, slowly engulfing the ponies' refuge. With all options exhausted, they begin to dig.

This is based off a short story I read long ago, and I hope someone can tell me what it was called.

Four survivors find themselves playing a dangerous game after Canterlot falls to the zombie outbreak. Their only chance for survival is to play by the rules. They must earn points and spend them wisely if they hope to uncover the truth behind the outbreak and bring an end to the madness now surrounding them. Surely some-pony is pulling the strings and if any-pony is going to have answers, it's Princess Celestia.

A story of love, betrayal and revenge - Light Up The Night follows Shining Light--a brilliant tinkerer whose father died in a horrific mining accident. His inventions revolutionized the industry and made the city a hub of technology. Eventually he would take on an apprentice, Wiley Hooves, who was just as gifted as Shining. Together they worked to bring the city into a new age but their disagreements eventually drove them apart. With a split of their partnership imminent, Wiley Hooves frames Shining Light for murder and takes full control of both the company and the city.

It had been on the news and in the papers; The Equestria Games Tragedy was what they were calling it. Dream Chaser, the star racer from Manehatten, was found barely alive in the Crystal Empire Stadium's locker room. Through magic and medicine, they saved his life, but they couldn't repair the damage done to his legs. With his career over, what would become of him?
