(For those who don't know, I'm canceling all of my incomplete stories. Rather than leave them on hiatus forever, I'm canceling them and making blog posts that summarize everything I failed to write.)
(Wow, it's been a while since I even thought about this one. Uhh...)
Tank, Gemini, and Crescendo meet back up with Ruble and find he has strange necklace around his neck. It bears fluttershy's cutie mark, and he powered it up by killing the timber wolves. At this point, they have three of the six elements of harmony. They fight their way all the way to Canterlot Castle and find the pack-a-punch machine where Celestia's throne would have been. Behind that, there are statues of the mane six. The statues have slots for the elements of harmony, and Tank, Ruble, and Gemini place theirs on the statues.
They venture off into the city, discover the other three elements and a new perk called "Friendship Cider", which ironically, only Ruble buys. The perk allows him to buy perks and wall guns for the other survivors, which he only does reluctantly. There's the Flim-Flam bros super cider squeezer next to it as a purchasable trap. When activated it, it picks zombies up and grinds them into a horrible juice of rotten flesh. Once complete, The Element of Honesty falls out.
Ruble finds the Element of Generosity and powers it by purchasing five clear-able barricades/doors. Crescendo gets the Element of Loyalty and powers it up by reviving Gemini after she goes down. Blah, blah, blah, they get the elements back to the throne room and kills lots of zombies, activating the element's full potential. A door opens behind the statues, they go down and find Luna, Celestia, and Discord playing an X-Box 360. Discord had the princesses convinced their game was just a game, but it really controlled all of Equestria. Or something.
But you want to know about Tank. He's not Tank Dempsey. He was actually just a pegasus that got caught up in a few of Discord's games before the Canterlot events. The last of which took him to the moon base with three other survivors and he was forced to kill them in order to "win". Upon winning, he received his alicorn abilities. The idea was to have a prequel, along with a sequel. In the sequel, Ruble betrays the group in order to win. Celestia and Luna finally break from Discord's control and imprison him with the elements of harmony.
The events of the sequel fall in line with my minecraft crossover "Fallen World" where Discord is being held by the elements several hundred years after the events of Spiel der Untoten. He references zombies, and games. Ruble also appears in Fallen World as the mayor of Respite: an underground civilization built to escape "The Storm". As the lava breaks into the cavern and ultimately destroys Respite, Ruble stands atop his tower and shouts, "I won, Tank! Do you hear me?! I won!"
So are you doing the same with ishnbtp and fallen world?

There's still hope for ISHNBTP. I may continue it. Fallen World however I'm putting to rest.
If only this story continued. I was the one that said this is how a zombies crossover should be done. Even reading this gave me a smile. But I won't hold this against you. I just hope something happens with this either you continuing it for whatever reason or someone capable of writing adopts this story. Just one thing though, did you have an idea for the wonder weapon?

The wonder weapon, yes, it was likely going to be the bass cannon that Vinyl Scratch is often seen with. That, or Pinkie's party cannon. Either way: a cannon.
