Generic the red and black alicorn is no stranger to bad plot devices and poor character development. After all, that was his life until the joy of it was sucked right out of him by alcoholism and personal tragedies. Retired, he lives a quiet life, married to an unnamed OC of no importance in an area just outside the Everfree Forest. It's a beautiful location except for all the humans that seem to appear there.

Oh, Generic had tried to talk to them, but their angst and edgy-ness clashed far too much with his own. Ignoring them only led to Generic bottling his frustration...and after two years, he could take no more.

(Read the Generic Trilogy and The Canon Squad and read this knowing that it's the worst parody I've ever written. Only then do you stand a chance of enjoying this.)

A Five Nights at Freddy's Adaption.

A simple restoration project project turns into a twisted nightmare, and it's something more than a few crossed wires causing the issues. Rust Bucket, a tinkerer by trade, must now fight for his survival and keep his daughter safe from the mechanical abominations that stalk his scrap yard.

That is, until he can get them fixed.

In the absence of the alicorns, the earth has fallen on times similar to those before the first Hearth's Warming, but with a different breed of Windigos. Dry winds and harsh temperatures scorch and scar the once beautiful lands, drying up even entire oceans. High in the clouds, the pegasi are disconnected from the strife of the other tribes, but still face their own issues. Rather than make civil arrangements and work out a trade for resources, they instead use their strength to impose rule over the earth dwellers. An all out war is coming, and lines will be drawn.

When Turncoat Magus decides he's on the wrong side and is cast out of the pegasus capital, he takes up arms with unlikely allies and vows to end the tyranny of his father, King Magus.

Though they had never met, the stallion hated the mare in apartment forty-two. All day, every day, he listened to her push her walker aimlessly around her apartment. The scraping noise it made on her floor echoed through the ceiling of his apartment, giving him no rest.

Then came the night he heard the thud, and the scuffling stopped...

For about a week.

Macabre has spent the majority of his life locked up and hidden away for demonstrating his special talent. Sleight O'Hoof was his name, and he could steal the fillings out of your teeth if you so much as blinked. He claimed he once stole Canterlot Castle while Celestia was away, as a joke. And honestly, after my experience with him, I wouldn't doubt that for a minute.

After the ever-popular Generic Series concluded with the death of its main character, Final Draft had found himself struggling to find a new outlet for his writings. The fans didn't want any of his dark literature, or anything intelligent for that matter; they wanted satire. They wanted more Generic. They wanted more of the over-powered red and black alicorn. When he did not deliver, the readers simply moved on.

But Generic never moved on.

Prison is no place for a pony like Twilight Sparkle, but after being convicted of murder, she's sent to live in one for the rest of her natural life. That prison is Sawflank; a funny kind of prison with corrupt guards, cruel punishments, and an unusually sadistic warden. Using all of her knowledge, Twilight finds a way to survive in Sawflank, and maybe even a way out.
