Everyone knows the cliche of Mary Sue, the black and red Alicorn OC. But how common is it, really? How much of the archetype is parody? How many people seriously create them?

That's what this group is for. Here we gather all stories involving our friend, the black-and-red alicorn, into one place, whether they be cliched. parodical, or actually good despite the stigma. Whatever you're looking for, you can find it here (as long as it involves black and red alicorns).

Folders:

Living the Cliche: Stories that live up to everything expected of black and red alicorn OCs.
Breaking With Tradition: Stories that are actually good despite the expectations surrounding black and red alicorn OCs.
Poking Fun: Parodies of the archetype.
Black Only: Half of the cliche, these alicorns are merely black.
Red Only: The other half of the cliche, these alicorns may be red, but they don't have that much black on them.

Rules:
1. Submit each story into one folder only.
2. Stories need to feature in a major role a alicorn OC who has black and red as major colors (so just a red streak in the mane and a black birthmark won't count). However, they do not need to be entirely black and red, just mostly so. If the OC has only one of the two colors, put it in the 'Black Only' and 'Red Only' folders.
3. No sequels, unless they introduce a new black and red alicorn OC.
3. Known Trollfics should not be placed in 'Living the Cliche' folder. That folder is for stories whose authors appear to be entirely serious with their OC.
4. Be nice. This group is for research purposes, not bashing.

The Current Tally: Eight Poking Fun stories (with more out there), no Breaking With Tradition stories, 11 Living the Cliche stories (with one later deleted), one story I'm not sure about where it should be placed (currently in Living the Cliche folder), two Black Only stories, and one Red Only story.

Total amount of black and red alicorn OCs so far: 19 & 1/2(One point is given for each black and red alicorn, and 1/2 a point is given for an OC alicorn that is either red or black, but not both)
