I know that everyone has their own approach and style to writing, but the sheer lack of contractions in this story made it difficult to read all the way through to the end. All of the speech felt so... formal and stilted.

Fluttershy really stepped up on this one. I can somewhat understand Rainbow Dash and Rarity holding back their volunteering but Twilight, Spike, and Pinkie were quite quiet.

Spoiled Rich calling AB a “mud pony.” Somehow this makes sense that she doesn’t realize that she, her husband, and her daughter are all earth ponies to the point that she’ll discriminate against her own tribe. The audacity on that one.

I look forward to seeing the fallout of this rarely allowed herd. And in the Original, there were lots of colts and fillies taking care of the heat while relying on that Tea. Might be a widespread problem.

Correct on all accounts, and the one who really won here was not Bloom but Fluttershy. Not only did she solve the marriage dilemma, she also provided a sizeable dowery to Granny (her animal friends being farm hands), and considering she is deathly allergic to Moon Tea got her itch finally scratched.
