Inspired by Equestria Girls: Digimon Chosen, Digital Harmony, and Equestria Girls: Digital War.
Thrill Ride is just your typical high-school kid. He hardly has any friends, most of his teachers give him a hard time, he doesn't really like the school he goes to. Luckily, he gets transferred to CHS in the hopes of having a better time and maybe make some new friends along the way. On his first day, he befriends seven girls who are anything but normal. But the real adventure begins when he and his newfound friends get sucked into a world parallel to their own, one composed of computer data and houses strange beings called Digimon. On top of that, they gain a newfound power that allows them to transform into these Digimon.
Buckle up as Thrill Ride and his newfound friends embark on a journey to save both worlds from an evil threat who seeks to dominate both.
This story doesn't branch from any of the Digimon anime or manga. The story is entirely original, though it is loosely inspired by Digimon Frontier. Also some elements of Dark Souls 1-3 may be incorporated into this.
Also, there will be some custom-made Digimon featured as well.
Why did you decide to name your main character Average Joe?

My my, didn’t think the new story would be Digimon story will be inspired by a Digimon story I just recently added to my library. Thought it would be the next Digital Dustin series.

I seen a good amount of stories where Nightshroud keeps asking and hoping for spike to be used in ANY way and be apart of the main cast and gets upset if that doesn’t happen

Your story gets an upvote from me simply because you're giving Nightshroud a nice, healthy dose of reality. Not only does that guy have a one track mind about Spike, but that track is not very wide either. Don't feel like you have to change anything to pander to his demands. It's good as is for now. Only thing I would change is the excessive amount of description of the canon characters; we know what they look like, so a brief description is more than enough and lets the readers get on to the action faster. Also, I know you changed the main character's name from Average Joe to Thrill Ride, but there are a few instances of the name Average Joe still remaining. You might want to fix that.

well I kinda can't wait for what's next, you using Frontier as inspiration is interesting because I haven't seen many fanfics use the concept of Spirit Evolution or something similar. I know not many fans liked Frontier but I thought it's concept was interesting but I thought it wasn't executed well but I am curious on what this story will go on to. Neo Evolution is kinda cool and I thought it was kinda cool that Thrill's relic was the transcendent sword from Onmimon, good job on this

Don't worry about Saberdramon having a Scottish accent despite being based on an Irish goddess. SMITE did the same thing.
