Sparky has been returned to Hitch safe and sound, all is well. At least, that's what everypony thinks.
Sunny, however, suspects that Sparky's disappearance has touched off something personal deep within Hitch. As a good friend, she takes it upon herself to have a talk with him and find out the what and why.
Hitch must have had a reason for briefly becoming a superhero, right? Little does Sunny know that Hitch has a secret about his past that he's been reluctant to share.

What little Sunny did know about parenting and child raising, she knew that it was every parent's worst nightmare to lose their child for any reason.
Definitely yes it's every parent's nightmare especially the first time even I have to keep an eye on my nieces and nephews safety it could be very worrisome

He looks like a rip-off version of Batman.
"A baby with incredible magic powers that we still don't fully understand," Sunny pointed out. "I'm sure he didn't mean to wander off and make you worry. And if he was dragonnapped, it's not like he really had a say in the matter. If anything, he must be smarter than he looks if he was able to outwit whoever it was that was trying to take him away.
Yeah not only he has a pretty strong magic in his fire but he is a pretty smart kid for his age especially how he set up the traps for Misty that's impressive
That's also another question about hitch as well including Izzy because we haven't seen both of their own parents either which it is kind of sad to think about it that Sunny hitch and Izzy have in common with each other in a sad way
Wow I never expected that at all so it looks like things were okay after finding Sparky but Sunny wants to make sure that hitch is actually okay after what she saw to hitch how he panic and everything he was okay but there was still fear about losing Sparky like that Sunny wants to know was he always like that and not only that the superhero costume apparently not only he always like being a superhero but he also dropped the bomb what happened to his parents that they were killed by a thief and Sunny was horrified finding out this and he told her that everything happened when he was a kid he was staying with his grandmother and they were having fun until the sheriff name Mr Cloverleaf Sprouts father have to give the bad news to her that hitches parents were killed on their way home when they being mugged after hearing that Grandma figgy and hitch were crying and now he wants to make a promise to keep everybody safe no matter what Not only he made that promise to Argyle to protect sunny but also to protect everybody so nothing but not repeat again and sunny just hug him what he did and everything he was Brave and saying sorry about what happened to his parents wow that was a really sad story and probably makes sense why we haven't seen hitches parents but also Izzy's as well but I guess that's another story either way this was pretty nice keep up the good work and also nice tribute to Kevin Conroy he will always be the Batman rest in peace to him and also to Jason David Frank the green ranger

Having Sprout's yet-unseen (and presumably deceased) father be the former sheriff is such a brilliant head canon that I'm actually jealous I didn't come up with it myself.
Kevin Conroy was born in 1955, not 1956.
Hey there. Sorry I took a while to get around to responding to this. Nothing to blame except self-admitted laziness and the fact I couldn't think of anything to say that other reviewers haven't already said better. Still, this IS a rather well-done one-shot and I absolutely loved all the respectful nods to Kevin Conroy's memory.
