First of all, wow. Of all the Flarity stories out there, this has got to be my favorite (even better than Steel Resolve's Green). Flarity is my favorite ship and in my opinion you did a superb job in developing the relationship between the two while playing with my emotions the whole time. Hats off to you for such an excellent story.

As I read back on it, I have to agree that Rarity's outburst definitely could've been set up better. I think my mindset here was that Rarity had been keeping her thoughts on homosexuality greatly reserved and hadn't been dwelling much on them in her pursuit for a stallion. It's not so much that she's in denial over her own sexuality, but that with all the hopes she's had since childhood of "finding her prince", she took great offense to Blossom's attempts to persuade her that... well, she got carried away. I tried to justify that in a later chapter as you noted, but yeah, I think that's one of the things I need to work on, is that sometimes I depend a little too much on the reader to know exactly what I'm thinking.

This, this was really good. And I quite agree with how you dealt with Rarity's sexuality, it seemed like a more realistic possibility, and I very much enjoyed it, though I'm not usually for this shipping (personally I can only see fluttershy with AJ for some reason or another (favorite shipping!)). But I still really liked It and now I'm gunna go read part three!

I might not be fond of Rarity's initial reaction, but I love the story nonetheless, the ending in particular.
The fact that I'm a hard Rarishy shipper might make my opinion a little biased though.
