Miller Minus

Cherish the thought.

E

Everygriff in Griffonstone knows that ponies are the most gullible little creatures under the sun, and the citizens of Ponyville might just be the dumbest of them all. On Gallus's first ever visit to the quaint little town, two weeks before school starts, he's eager to see just how much money he can make off of them.

But the ponies of Ponyville may not be as defenseless as they seem.

Short, but very sweet. Some really nice subtle character development there too. You're really good at writing the Young Six.

Wow this was a pretty nice story and thinking gallus would have gotten away what was he was supposed to do and roseluck showed him a little hospitality and kindness and also welcoming and it basically changed his view on ponies what a way to start your day huh gallus but this is a pretty nice story keep up the good work

Really great Gallus writing, bro. Fantastic. This boy has no idea the amount of friendship he's about to learn

That means a lot coming from you, Jack. Thank you 💙

I'm glad you got around to publishing this! Excellent character piece.

An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Or something.

This was a nice little story. Definitely enjoyed Gallus here, and it makes sense that he had some edges before he came to the school.

Roseluck appeared in her window, smiling in the sun, leaning over the sill and holding a hoof against her face. She winked.

Also apparently that 'hoof on face' thing that Cozy Glow does is a real thing in this universe.

Who knew?

I wonder what she would think of Gallus's early days as a criminal? Regardless, a sweet little number all around.

Typical ponies--Always taking the nefarious among them and turning them into friends in the end.

So you best get used to it, Gallus, because you're going to be seeing plenty more of it. :raritywink:

Gallus the thief, defeated by pie, I love it!

“Gallus.” The pony nodded. “Cool name.”
“Thanks,” said Gallus. “It’s a type of chicken.”

AND HERE I JUST ASSUMED THAT THE GALLUS GALLUS JUST DIDN’T EXIST IN-UNIVERSE
but actually him actively knowing he was named after a type of chicken is much funnier

I LOVE THIS STORY IT'S VERY GOOD i love the way you write gallus and it's the perfect length so GREAT JOB

I came expecting loony hijinks, but found something even better. Well played and an excellent story!

Awww! I love seeing Gallus happy! This was nice!

I've been of the opinion for the longest time that both Gallus and Smolder were sent to Twilight's school more to protect them than because they needed to learn friendship. They're just too... nice for their own societies.

I know it said complete before but now it's super complete. Thanks for reading, friends. I'll see you soon.

I was not expecting this story but it looks like Gallus still can't believe that Roseluck gave him a pie and it looks like Grandpa Gruff found him and of course they're not having a good conversation but somehow he wanted to choose him to represent griffonstone and it looks like he did Choose the right Griffin but this was a pretty good nice story keep up the good work

But the ponies of Ponyville may not be as defenseless as they seem.

But... Ponies are defenseless. Everyone in this show is.

Ooh, not just complete, but super complete! How many stories can claim that? :raritystarry:
