And say, if you do should continue it, how about a go at an alternate version of "The Return of Harmony", in which maybe Fluttershy had a foresight dream about what will happen with Discord and such, trying to warn her friends, but they don't listen, so she's the only one left who can save her friends once Discord got them under his control. I would love to see it!

I can't help but think that either Celestia or Luna caught wind of this and began considering Fluttershy for reforming Discord.
This is a very nice story!
Of course Fluttershy would be willing to listen to Discord's past and try to sympathize with what happened to him...but not forgiving him for hurting or scaring others. And I like how Discord's pre-reformed personality shines through here—still wanting to spread chaos, but also wanting a friend, even if he won't admit it. And of course, framing things as games before she finds him. Her still finding him without playing by his rules was also a nice touch.
Is Fluttershy able to hear him because she's an Element? Or can she hear him because she'd be willing to hear him? Or is it a combination of both?
Either way...this is a nice oneshot. While a sequel or continuation might be nice, it doesn't really need any—the ending with Discord slowly opening up to what we know is friendship is already good.
Does this imply Fluttershy gave him his name even though he seemed to have had it long before his entrapment in stone?

Yeah! I was thinking that her and him have some kind of strange connection because she's an Element of Harmony. But the other ponies are unable to hear him because Fluttershy's more open minded to different kinds of ponies and creatures and is more forgiving in nature.

I wonder why Discord would tell Fluttershy his past when he didn't even want to talk about his name. And, even if he really told her his past, why would he tell the truth and how could she know what he said is true?
Well, maybe it's me being too suspicious. He could just have been lonely for too long and he needed to talk it out. And she certainly would listen.

I feel as though he takes pride in what he does and how he did things that he's pretty open about it. However, when Fluttershy mentioned that exchanging names was a "usual thing ponies do", he immediately didn't want to. He's not very fond of ponies at this point in time and doesn't exactly want to do the usual since he's the Lord of Chaos.

For telling her about his past, that seems to be quite vague if it really was meant to be stated or implied at all in the story, so it's probably more up to interpretation. As for how truthful he was in telling his past, I'll place a piece in the story that says what I believe his reason when I come across it, but as he believes he was mistreated, it came naturally to want to tell the complete truth(similar to how a victim in a case usually wishes to tell the best truth they can from their memory)to potentially confirm his own idea by bouncing off another at the very least or being able to tell himself that someone would share his viewpoint in some regard at the very most
As for whether the history was viewed as deceitfully or truthfully, the focus to what could be truth is from what is most likely true such as his role as the spirit of chaos(which could be supported through appearance and the mystery surrounding Discord)and the forced chaos on ponies(which could be supported through the oxymoronic nature of lying about causing misery in an attempt to seem innocent and his current petrified state).
Though besides reasoning, it probably also comes from the idea of giving one the benefit of the doubt(which in turn would make dismissing the account as fake bad due to how little it adds and even how it could prevent one from listening to another properly)
