That was a pretty unique take on changeling reproduction definitely caught me off guard. Not sure if cannon Celestia would ever approve that particular "medical" procedure but I can see it within the fic.
With that in mind I wonder if we will see the S6 finale metamorphisis or not towards the end. And if so how will that tie in to the main plot?

I doubt it. Neither me nor my co-writer care very much for the multi coloured jelly beans that the changelings became. I hope that's not a deal breaker for you.
And the idea of the pony incubators was inspired a little by Alien, just think eggs instead of face hugger. The plan might seem ghoulish at first, but it's really not. The ponies who volunteer were terminally ill any way.

I guess that depends on your personal perspective and I think it in character with Celestia that she is reluctant to the whole idea even though at the end of day she goes with it. Anyway, it is interesting to see some new approach how to handle changelings other then what happened in the S6 finale.

I really like how you've humanized (ponyized?) Celestia in this story. Yeah, she comes of as a bit irrational, but it makes sense in the wider context of the world.
