Yes, they do come from the same Earth, which i call the Un-Naturalverse. if you stick around my home page and read most of my HiE stories that have humans with powers, 80% of the time they will come from this made up universe i came up with.

Maybe the old man wants to add Red hawk so he been hiring ,but they can't because RH is to good so he does himself but RH says no and trys to fly away, and that's how he gets transported. Or the old man gets a shape shifting Un-Natural to track RH after he says no and fly's away.

now i'm still figuring out what to do for the romance & sex, but i'm not sure if i'll do the Herd dynamic. while i do like fics with Herds, i just not sure if i can right a good Herd story. i like having characters have 1 on 1 (maybe 1 on 2) romance life cause i feel more confident that i can do a decent single romance.
other than that, i'm glad you're liking what's going on so far.
Bringing Un-Natural's to this world is noble Red. But you have to pick and choose and use good judgement. Some of them may seem nice.. but they could have evil intentions

that's going to be one of the main conflicts. while Red Hawk wants to do right for HIS people, not many of them would accept because:
A.) they think that he maybe crazy.
B.) they could have evil intentions.
C.) they are to traumatized by being on the run, and being lied & used, that they won't trust anyone else. not even other Un-Naturals.

I've always like stories like this where a Alien lands on a different world and wants to bring more of their kind for a better life but it may or may not go correct. So entertaining.

that's not gonna happen. because, in my Un-Naturalverse---while very rare--there are several people that have cross-dimensional capabilities to there teleportation powers. so the only way to prevent the bad guys to not come to Equestria, by accident or not, is to get those people to leave earth.
A phoenix is an immortal creature, makes sense he would be able to regrow limbs...
Wonder if it is rapid cell growth (that should drain the body's resrouces) or just magical nonsense
