If the enemy itself is the same government itself that hates un-naturals, and goes out it's to invade ANOTHER world, just to get a single guy ( Red Hawk )?

I be so disappointed and FRICKIN pissed at them. And I wouldn't be surprised that Celestia, Luna, and Cadence will declare this as WAR!!!!! Seriously, is our own government ( In this story ) that f******* stupid to risk a inter-dimensional war against Equis/Equestria?

( And remember, the Ponies AREN'T the only species that lives there. Don't forget the other non-pony civilizations/kingdoms/empires that would be pissed off as well. )

( Which I sadly doubt we will see any of them. Since we are still in the very first season. And we were only introduced to them from the later seasons/movie. 😞 )

all fair points, but here's some clarifications.

-Earth (or at least this version of Earth, is more focused on trying to handle the mutants they have to deal with), so its not really occupied--and therefore not fully paying attention--to the discovery and research of the new world. and is just leaving it to the scientist team that discovered it.
-Miranda is ordered by the government to only RESEARCH the new world, and not try to cause trouble, cause the reports have made accounts about talking equines. BUT, Miranda is a bit crazy, and is going to twist the mission to fulfil her own personal goal of capturing Red Hawk.
-and as to the other races. the scientist have only seen the ponies. they have no idea about the griffons, dragons, etc.

Also, Miranda is a stalking Yandere-type of character who has Red Hawk as her prey. which is why she's so fixated on him, even willing to cause an inter-dimensional war between Earth and Equestria.

Well, that's just super stupid. She will not only be in deep shit with Red Hawk and our pony friends obviously. But, also her OWN government will be frickin pissed at her as well.
