While I find everything else quite readable, I've got no idea what this sentence is supposed to mean. If I replace 'signature' with 'subject', it makes a lot more sense to me.

I really enjoyed this story. Celestia needs far more love, and this was a nice change from all the Trollestia stuff.
This was an interesting piece. I really like the idea of it and the insight it gives into the people involved. I was a little lost at the beginning when you started hopping between Twilight and Sky Watcher's points of view. But once Celestia showed up you cleaned things up nicely.
One question though, Sky watcher hasn't seen a "real" sky either has he? Does he just have the artistic touch or I mean how does he know what good is?

No, Sky Gazer has never seen a real night sky, but he and Celestia have been friends for years, and even though he doesn't know the full story, he does know she didn't create the night sky originally. Also, being an artist, he has always given his advise to Celestia, and has seen her "create" more beautiful skies than the one from that night.
This story has officially been deemed an Opal by The Gem Hunters.
This story is quite good, but Celestia at times felt a little bit out of character in the flashback. I know she's tired, and stressed, but she's still a bit too aggressive.

Indeed my Celestia from the past can be very mean, and this is not the meanest she gets to be in my head canon. I just imagine Celestia with a very different character a thousand and something years ago. She was a lot more flawed, easier to crash under the stress and intransigent. Overall, not a very good ruler yet.
