But being serious: I don't plan on letting this story die anytime soon. I already have plenty planned for this story, all the way to chapter 5 in fact.
For anyone who might be confused: I added the gore tag because of some content in chapter 3 that I was unsure about. For all I know, I could have posted chapter 3 without needing to add the gore tag, but I thought it would be better to be safe rather than sorry.
Another good chapter, but it did feel a little rushed. If you want some advice, take your time you post chapter's more often than most do and a story this good is worth a little bit of a wait to get another good chapter.

Yeah, the choice came right out of left field, as the expression goes. But as my Author's Note says, the logic behind it was pretty sound. Chapter 6 is in the works, and I'm planning to have a one-off antagonist in it.

In Embodiment of Scarlet Devil, during one of the Reimu stories (I don't remember if it's Reimu A or Reimu B), the last line of dialog before the fight with Cirno in Stage 2 is Cirno saying "I'll cryo-freeze you together with some English beef!!" Basically, that became a meme, because it sounds like a child trying (and failing) to sound tough.

I realized yesterday that there were two different kinds of apostrophes in my chapters. One works just fine. The other ruins the Text-to-Speech feature, and also just sort of breaks the word counting algorithm. Over the next several days, I'm going to be replacing all the "bad" apostrophes with "good" apostrophes.
