Well, in Fallout: New Vegas, if you have the Wild Wastelands Trait, the one that causes random shit, there's a church that if you go into the basement you can find three Holy Frag Grenades, so someone at least TRIED to.
They're basically all the power of a Mini-Nuke in a typical throwing grenade.
