My species are one of the one most unfortunate beings to live in Equestria. We are few in numbers. Many of my kind aren't even educated as the ponies around us. Those ponies have no Idea how well of a life they have. They live in peace warm homes while my kind is shunned and are seen as dumb dogs.
But I am the exception.
I am going to lead our kind into a better life in these lands. I may have lost everything, but I still have my mate, and that is enough for me to live on. Somehow, some way, I will give my kind, the respect and honor it once had.

My bad it been that way for a while I forgot to change it.
This has some potential but its not able to shine because of all the grammatical errors. You seem to switch tenses multiple times in single sentences. I didn't notice very many spelling errors so that's a plus. I would highly suggest getting an editor. Your work could be drastically improved with a good editor.
