Honestly, they should have expected something from the Sirens. The girls did ruin something important to the Sirens that they'd had over a thousand years. Some simple teenagers can't possibly comprehend that level of loss, getting their family members killed off one by one might bring them close to understanding. Getting some petty revenge is basically the least they're entitled to.
Bad guys and all, but they still have feelings, and losing what made them who they were for longer than anyone can possibly understand is a harsh blow. Surprised they didn't kill themselves, really. That depression had to be DEEP for awhile there.
And drama begins.
I really am enjoying this story. You've painted a fun picture, and the drama is simply delicious. I'm excited to see more.
She tries to hit her even before finding out about the video? Wow. I mean, you already beat her at the Battle of the Bands and didn't even suffer a scratch from it, you took away her reason for living and destroyed a thousand+ years of history with your teenaged bravado and hubris - she had to be stopped, but at least understand why she had to be and what was lost in the process. Dash is a bitch.
If she's going to be like that she kinda deserves the whole video fiasco. Embarrassment weighed against unprovoked physical confrontation when the score was already settled. That's some serious thugging out.

that seems strange for Sunset to hand off money for individual popcorns, seemingly out of the goodness of her heart... I sense an ulterior motive - like she's actually a germophobe and doesn't like sharing her popcorn
okay I laughed out loud, but wouldn't she still look fat when she buys herself that much and everyone else just gets like a cone?
I like the small details that flesh out the chapter into more than just a rehash of your other chapter, makes the whole story a little fuller
wait, but at SunDagio's one-year anniversary party FlutterDash was only out a few months - did they continue keeping it secret after their friends found out? Assertive Fluttershy is hot, I want to hear what she had to say

Man, I don't care who defended what. If you had a bit more fire and testosterone Sunset, you shoulda decked Rainbow. Doesn't matter WHAT the problem is, even if she knew Adagio took that video, you don't let things get past a well-deserved dressing down and guilt-trip. The moment shit gets physical you alpha-strike whoever laid hands on who you're with. I mean, damn, Rainbow's already done worse to Adagio than Adagio did to her and Fluttershy. It's uneven again. Lay Rainbow out, balance the scales. If you're going to wear the pants in the relationship, wear the goddamn pants, girl.
Rainbow's emotions are a bit chaotic and she seems to change her mind fairly quickly. She's mad at Adagio now but I think it'll get worse for maybe a chapter's length and then get much better considering the outcome.
6281685 Rainbow didn't know it was Adagio who took the video though, Sunset had to keep a clear mind and emotions in check to continue keeping that a secret. Plus I think that might validate Rainbow's assumptions of Sunset being influenced, turning against her friends and negative energy and all
Personally, I think it's cute that Sunset was more concerned with Adagio's well-being than her honor. In my experience as the dominant and non-dominant half in a relationship, I find myself upset at the prospect of my partner rushing to punch someone who wasn't in clear, continued pursuit (esp my dominant partner, it's a little endearing when I'm being defended by someone "weaker" than me); feels degrading.
Keep it up.
Finally, the new chapter. Keep up the good work, this is a great fanfic.
