Well of course not,
As this story is really two layers, the outer layer the one in which the story is being told, and the inner layer which contains the events of the story, I would suggest using a third person voice to narrate and provide transitions.

I smell trouble...
The story barely started and already someone is equating ignorance of arcane dragon manners to "being sheltered."
As if, somehow, it's some kind of primal unalienable truth everyone should already know that you can't call dragons by their real names, when really it's a set of rules that apply to exactly one species that there is no way to know unless that species explicitly tells you it.
But instead they're so arrogant they expect everyone to already know and follow those rules, and get outraged when they don't.
I think I figured out what really repulses me of Harmony's ascenscion to a dragon: the implication that it's primarily because Dragons are better than Ponies.
The greatest of all ponies, the very keeper for their race is... not good enough. He can be a dragon instead, because ponies are not as good as dragons. He ascends further than ponies do.
He did exist, but I don't believe he does, given that he's abandoned his own race.
If he is still supposed to actually be the alicorn keeper, then he should probably actually take an interest in his own race ever, rather than focusing on dragons, which he mostly did from the beginning of story one, and has pretty much exclusively done since he changed race.

Hm... Well I suppose if she could find a mate that wouldn't engage automatic soulbonding, then those instincts would come in handy, whether it's somehow a dragon and there is no magical pair bonding, or some other race that won't have that effect...
I'm... sorta discounting the idea that she would find having sexual urges useful to find her bonded mate, since if she found that person most likely the instincts would kick in anyway.
Storyteller didn't say anything about what options there are for a female that's already chose to find a mate.
Mostly I'm just hoping that she didn't keep them to hassle males. Would seem awful petty of her.
