(Other character tag: Button Mash)
Button Mash is an extremely experienced gamer, he's defeated many powerful and frighting opponents in games, and has proven to many up-start gamers how a 'veteran' plays. Whatever the challenge, no matter how hard, he proved to his opposition why he was the better fighter; but, after a simple question, he now has new opponent to face, one he never liked or wanted to have ever met, his classmate Sweetie Belle.
(This story is based on this story. It had promise, but was unfortunately cancelled. I'm tagging this as 'Teen' due that I will mention some sexual stuff, and I want to play it safe. Also, it's mostly told from Button Mash's perspective.)

I'm disappointed that Button Mash is not an official character, and therefore we must use the 'other' tag. But it does look like a good story.
Button, you're entitled to say no if you feel, that strongly, about it. Just, you know, don't be a jerk about it. Be careful about how you word it and it'll be okay. Stringing her along is, arguably, alot more cruel than just saying no. You'll just get her hopes up, just to shoot them down again...
...But other than that, this fic stands out quite alot at being the only SweetieMash story that has Button not liking her like that so that Sweetie will eventually win him over in the end. This is looking to be a great story!
...How old are they supposed to be? Are they eight or something? If so, how did they end up in that situation if Button couldn't remember? It'd make sense if alcohol was involved somehow but, if they're too young, I don't know.
Also, Diamond Tiara was making fun of Button for playing his JoyBoy?! Seriously?! Is a boy not supposed to play video games? Is that weird now, Diamond? I swear, she is so One-Dimensional I'm surprised we can even see her on screen!
Still a fine chapter though, and Button in denile is quite funny! And, well, this chapter kinda made my comments from the previous chapter null and void. Well played, sir

I knew I shouldn't have published this till after chapter 3 was done. Between your two comments, I think you pretty much summed up the content of chapter 3 in a nutshell.
They're suppose to be about 16-17 in age, depending on how you best see it. Not exactly that old, but not that young either.

Also, is this in the same universe as My Little Spike and Two Wings of a Feather? Because you would be a legend if it is. I love those stories and will wait for the next chapter of the second for as long as it takes. There is, like, no Featherloo stories on here and the ones there are, are all crackfics! It's kinda annoying because I quite like the pair.
But, even if it's not, I shall still follow loyally. Keep up the good work!

As tempting as it is to be considered a legend, I'm afraid to say, no, this isn't in the same universe as MLS and TWoaF. I'll let you know though I do have something up my sleeve though, which according to your comment and your group affiliations, I think you might like. It won't be apparent until ch 5 though (if this goes how I want it to).

...I'm really hoping this isn't going to be a 'Sweetie Belle gets pregnant' story. I was kinda hoping it'd be more of a 'Sweetie Belle slowly wears Button down and is, somewhat, obsessive'. It'd make it feel like Sonic and Amy's relationship, except Sweetie Belle will eventually get with him!
But I'd still read, regardless, because your CMC pairings are my favourite pairings! It's rare to find that and I've read my fair share of Pony A is impregnated by Pony B, hijinks ensue (Mostly of the Spikebloom variety), but I know that you'd be able to handle that. I really love your portrayal of the CMC! Scootaloo and Applebloom are hilarious (Though a little immature), Spike is just as a devoted friend as ever, not letting his friendship with Button cloud his judgement, Button still isn't fond of SB which is good because one night isn't going to flip his view upside-down and Sweetie is...well, just that! She is incredibly adorable and I am definately rooting for her! I even loved the Rarity scene! (She is my favourite, mane six character and it's great to see her portrayed well!)
I loved these two chapters and am looking forward to the next!

Yeah, seems I have a knack for figuring out how to make characters too much of a jerk without really trying. Your sentiment is actually deeply shared by my editor, he was fuming for a bit after I asked him to check Ch 3. If it's any consolation, I'm closely working with him right now to find a good serving of karma for Button.

Um,...I'll just leave it to reader discretion when it comes to the subject if Sweetie got pregnant. To be honest, my editor advised me to leave the idea if Button and Sweetie did more than just cuddle up in bed up in the air so anyone reading can decide what they did (if it was Safe For Woona, or not), so I suppose that subject will be up in the air as well to whichever path you would personally prefer to imagine.
Okay, Button. This is unacceptable. You didn't want to hurt her feelings, you keep thinking about how she's cute, you noticed her perfume and you didn't object to her kissing you. Just admit that you're in love already.
