Little blooper: Doctor Whooves is The Doctor himself, so.... weird celebrity paradox... I don't even know. I got around that issue by making Inspector Spacetime a thing in TCB earth...
4725584 Had that convo with redskin: he was of the opinion that this Earth isn't the Doctor's Earth. I would have gone with the show "Professor X" that's basically a Who analogue from the BBC novels from the 90's, but hey ho. It works. :-)

Can't believe it took me so long to get around to reviewing this! It's got all the things I like best in the Spectrumverse; touching moments of friendship between humans and ponies, the sense that humanity can still face its fate with some dignity, the occasional respectful mention of Ambassador Lyra Heartstrings...
Whoever said Spectrum was all about Nightmare Fuel and pop-culture homages?
But what really sells this short story to me is that you needn't even have read the original to understand what it's about.

5607994 Kraber is in The Light Despondent as a main star, and (I think) Last Train From Oblivion, Case Files, Calm Before The Storm and the Main Story to various different degrees. He's quite ubiquitous.
