I really liked this short. Very emotional yet powerful judgment.
I've a question regarding the setting, what happened to the lands that were under the barrier? Do the landmasses still exist unaltered, just removed of any formerly human constructions? Have any of them been terraformed by the ponies (as in, deserts revived, wild forests tamed, etc)? Do they all constitute 'Equestria' now, or provinces of 'Equestria' in the same way the Roman Empire had provinces like the Crystal Empire? And where is the original 'Equestria' landmass, in the pacific?

Landmasses exist, most human stuff is gone with some exceptions (to be explored). The Barrier is gone, leaving them open to human recolonisation, but Converted and Native Equestrians were in the process of colonising the land during the war. Ramifications of land ownership to be explored. Equestria landmass is technically on the other side of a portal, but "Portal Island" was generated and still exists in the Pacific.

We hear so much about how there are steadfast, ignorant rebels fighting even though Solamina is dead and gone, but we've never actually seen them. It's just a bunch of people in stuffy offices talking about how the peasants are revolting, you never actually SEE anyone doing anything. We just have to take their word for it. :V

I'm quite surprised that while some converted still follow Solamina's doctrine because it's all they know what to do anymore, some of the freed converted still present in Equestria haven't taken to commit lynches against the native ponies for what happened. Unless that happens to be what will be covered in a future chapter.

6187793 The other races of Equus are denied access by the Iron Wall, which surrounds Equestria. Individual members/groups of non-ponies in Equestria are probably allowed to live under much the same conditions as the ponies themselves.
