That was my goal when writing Derpy. I'd written her for another fic, and I ended up making her a goofy, and comical, but I ended up getting criticized for it. With this one I wanted to make her realistic; clumsy, and a bit silly, without simply being comic relief.

So no explanation for possible child neglect. I was so sure that dinky calling Sam daddy and then feeling betrayed by derpy would cause some drama but that doesn't really fit dinky. She's too loving. Still I have a hard time believing derpy would just abandoned dinky. And that letter wouldn't necessarily ruin the surprise.

I had hoped to get through without the sex scenes being too graphic (my feels stay separate, thank you very much), but so it goes.

I stopped reading the point you had her turn into a human just so they could have sex... Very poor execution... Seriously are you that miffed by seeing an equestrian pony and human make out that you chose to turn her into a human just so they could fuck? I was hoping he could get over the fact she was of a different species that they could focus on whats important. The love they feel for one another.

And the 3rd chapter where you have the dream sequence with him and Luna is now all but pointless! Why bother going to such lengths having even Luna herself show him that it doesn't matter whats on the outside, but the love that each other feel on the inside that matters most.

I was gonna upvote this story as it was working out to be really well done. Heck I even choked up when Dinky called him daddy...

This was a great story. I'm glad it showed how much Derpy would do for love, also for Sam to get over his hang ups to realize love is universal in its application. The love making was nice and nothing over the top. It was especially nice to see he liked her as she is. I think people forget he's in equestria now, so time to toss the old taboos away! Again loved the story!
